Went to the Old Horse. Was well excited that they had Wherry on by Woodfordes. I had one sip, tasted like something you’d put on your chips in Norfolk, rather than having with them. Beautiful collective pubs showing time after time, they can’t keep cask beer.

This is said so much- incorrectly stating when we were in league one. Pearson got us out of league one, he got us out of the championship. He also built a premier league winning side. The King Power people are secondary. Huth has shown a few times how clueless he is.

Sonrisa and Wild Tango look to get good reviews.
Sonrisa is okay(hit and miss) but Wild Tango is up there with some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in Leicester City Centre.

Oh right. I thought Scottish people who play for Australia wouldn’t speak English

130k a week,Vokes really? I highly doubt that. As that wound be what they are paying the whole sqaud now 🤣 do you mean a year ?
Wycombe Wanderers total wage bill for 2025 is:
- £7,903,480 per year
- £151,990 per week
The highest earning player in the squad is George Abbott earning £11,000 per week.
I think the figures St Albans has quoted are for per year.

People might not like Keir Starmer as a leader but he’s a good person that if you read what he says(rather than listen), you’d back him all the way.
Vile to see the established class like Clarkson(public school) poke fun at Starmer in the grand scheme of things. Acts by him will contribute to this country becoming reform.

Team is out. Full strength again. The two Bath games coming up will be proper battles. Just hoping we beat them next week so the club and City centre get a full house home semi and can make some money.
Excited to see Titcombe play at 10.

Bath lose at Bristol
opens the door for us to take 2nd and home semi if we can win there next weekend
in the meantime we need to beat Exeter on Sunday to be sure of qualifying
I am sure we already have qualified but yes still doesn’t take away the fact we need to win at Bath to get that home semi final.

nah not having that. He always put his all onto the pitch and it's not his fault that our strategic squad building paid 23m for him and put him on a ton, then refused to try and recoup anything on him. Not even close to the bloke who trundled round with a face like a man chewing a wasp, acting like he was doing us a favour by putting on his boots
I hate them both equally !

If Nigel Pearson was managing that side I’d go. Just to see if he squares up to Claudio(in jest) In fact, Vardy might have liked to have played against a Ranieri team.

One funny thing is Daka doing shooting practice at Loughborough Uni- his wife(?) is a sprinter and practices there. He likes to shoot into an open goal but misses quite a few…

One day. There’s a few people who have told me things.

Where did you go?
Kings Head, Two Tailed Lion and Real Ale Classroom. Me and my partner are considering moving to Nottingham. Really sad but I need to live somewhere I can walk to a beer culture.

Had some bank holiday beers in Leicester. Don’t think there will be many bank holiday beers left in Leicester. This city is brilliant for its multiculturalism but it’s also ruining its pub scene. I am looking to leave…

Disastrous signing and any serious club would have moved him on years ago. Crazy to think we had offers (rumoured) from AC Milan and Bournemouth. Score bags at his next club mind.
Bournemouth was so close but they realised at the last minute he wasn’t worth it. He should be hated (some Welsh people don’t) as much as Ayew. I know people who have recounted from people working in his mansion in Market Bosworth. Good riddance to him.

Vardy isn’t a miracle worker. Shame for him but he’ll get over it when he plays for Birmingham City next season.

Not fit to lace the boots of Vardy. Not even fit to lace the boots of Iheanacho.

Nice pubs in Leicester

Yes, looking at the clientele in the pub, I think I was the only one who wouldn’t be drinking a crap lager or Pinot.
