If you had the option to buy Burton Albion or Leicester City and you could easily afford either who are you choosing?
If you had the option of debt ridden Leicester City who are losing 10's of millions a year, or say Bradford City who are solvent and their owner has said he would sell for £10million and in very little debt, who are you choosing?

It'll likely be someone who isn't in a job surely? King Power didn't have the money last season to get a manager who was employed, so why would they have the money to do it now?

Ricardo for a period was very very good I thought.
I do think some people forget (not everyone) how good ricardo was pre- covid. Injuries killed him

As soon as Top decided he's had enough of covering major losses every season, that's when we will go into administration.
So probably not next season because he will more than likely keep funding in the short-term. But long term? I can't seem him funding a failing business year after year. Surely he will get fed up and eventually and pull the plug.

It will be probably be someone out of work, there won't be much money to play with this summer.
-
Problem is with this is that we can only loan so many and will probably will have very very little money to spend. Any permanent signings will probably be free transfers relaisitically.
-
The summer (2022) when we signed absolutely no one even though we needed to start moving players on and signed absolute garbage in the January

Peter Taylor for dismantling everything MON built
RVN for that no scoring home run of games
Rodgers for having the hump and sabotaging us from within
CFuentes. For being out of his depth and dull football
Holloway for being a buffoon and taking us down playing for q draw
Levein. For buying loads of rubbish players from Scotland and just a poor time
I also dislike Mark McGhee with a passion but can’t say he should be in the worst.
You're right about Mcghee. I remember toward the end of his time here his style of play had been found out by other teams and we had already started the slide down the table. By no means the worst, but a good mention.

This one of my big issues with KP and the way they do business. This clause would've been activated almost two years ago and we are only just finding this out now?! The club is more secretive than North Korea

If this is the case why sack Marti? It makes absolutely no sense.
Because the club really is that incompetent and have no idea what they are doing?

So it wasn't a championship game, but I went to Bradford City v Peterborough today.
Very very strange. So Bradford had this thing, it's called a striker?! Apparently he's allowed to score as many goals as he likes and also have as many shots as he likes?
Also they play a winger, but there's 2 of them, one on either side of the pitch...both of them are allowed to touch the ball and attack as much as they like!
And the goalkeeper, he doesn't have to concede at least one goal every game, he is allowed to stop the ball from going into his own net.
Mindblowing.

OK.
Why wouldn’t Dyche come here?
Why would he drop down a division, to near the bottom of that division for a club that have plenty of senior positions unfilled, a team that isn't good enough and no money to make it any better?
Not to mention our proven track record of being financially incompetent and 6 managers in 3 years is it?

No manager without any serious baggage and a bang avergae record would come here at this moment. Why would they?
There is no 'rebuild' coming in the summer, we have no money and there absolutley nothing to suggest we wont fail psr again this year be under some sort of transfer embrago come July.
Even if we aren't, we wont spending millions it will mainly be free transfers put in with academy players.
Why would get a decent technial director too? We cant choose a decent manager so why would we choose a decent technical director? And even if we did he still has to operate under the structure and culture of King Power which is dragging us toward league one anyway.

Bit chilly.
“We know it is always tough in the Championship with many games, midweek games in the cold. It’s not an excuse that a team like Leicester is in this position. It is not nice and not what we expect at all.
Never played in the prem before 2014
“I told the directors and other people that we used to be a very small club in the Midlands and then we grew bigger and bigger and we forgot what we were before.”
I have only listened to snippets, please tell me he didn't really say that last paragraph. Surely not

Even if this guy was a free transfer he would've been a sh!te signing, but the fact we paid £18m(?) and paid him very very good wages during his time here makes him one of the worst we've ever had.
-
I'm sure Jon's trying to suck on Russell Martins todger as we speak
-
We probably have breached again. Not because this bloke says so, but because we have a proven track record of being financially incompetent.

I know on the pitch we are shite, but this more than that. We've had 4 years of mismanagement which is now really bearing fruit. We got away with it last time we were down in this division because we had the financial clout and players who were very good for the championship.
This time around we neither have the financial clout or the players to go up.
But within the club we have barely changed anything.
In 22/23 we had how many players out of contract? They all left for free and we are doing the same thing again this season, the people in charge don't learn from their own mistakes.
Ok Whelan has gone for ridiculous financial losses. But Rudkin has spent hundreds of millions and still got us relegated twice so he's just as/if not more culpable. So then it comes down to the owner. He either needs to change or he needs to sell.
I was there for the 2003/2009 period and it was painful. To our younger supporters it can get much worse than it currently is and we weren't as badly run back then as we are now.
Depressing times.
