  1. Thoughts on changing the last line next season to, 'His name's N'Golo Kante, he's won the Premier League!'

From my very brief memory of happenings on Saturday in the globe that might well have happened. Someone please assist...

  2. This, a million times this.

Man City without Aguero - Minus 13 goals

Arsenal without Giroud - Minus 12 goals

Spurs without Kane - Minus 15 goals

Everton without Lukaku - Minus 15 goals

Watford without Ighalo - Minus 14 goals

Granted the last two aren't challengers for the title/champions league, but if you take the top goalscorer out of any of those teams it will affect their league position significantly. The same even goes for taking Rooney's 7 goals away from United, Payet's 6 for West Ham or Defoe and Wijnaldum's 9 each for Sunderland and Newcastle respectively. Those two would be dead and buried without those goals.

    It's just a terrible argument.

Agreed. All this crap about taking players out of teams.

Vardy is employed as striker to finish off the chances we create as a team. That is his position.

Take Aguero out of their side or Kompany for that matter and they turn to mush.

  3. Spurs and Palace fans seem to be a breed apart.

Palace seem to have the delusion that they are bigger than they are.

Spurs are just fecked up, an entire generation has grown up playing with Arsenal owning them year in year out. That has bred a special kind of bitterness. I see a similar thing with Everton fans, even though your closest rivals haven't actually been great they've been consistently better than they have.

Arsenal and Chelsea have a few dicks but for me Spurs and Palace are streaks ahead in the competition for London's biggest twats.

Where have Palace gone anyhow? Thought they'd bagged a champions league place about 6 weeks ago, hence why they stopped playing. Tinmen.

  4. The ignorance of pundits & journos who think Mahrez's pass to Vardy was an aimless hoof is astounding.

If they'd watched us regularly they would know that we look for that pass often, and you can see Vardy on his bike as soon as Mahrez gets the ball and Mahrez knows exactly where to put the ball because he knows the space Vardy will be running into.

If it'd been Di Maria last season it would have been 'world class', 'incredible vision' etc etc

  5. Just started getting into Golf (about 3 months ago) so have begun betting on it too (naturally). Been watching quite a lot of a lately. Jason Day what a man. Had £7.50 e/w on him at 12/1 for WS.

Gone for Grace in the latest tournement. 22/1.

  6. How did the FCC meeting go last night anyway??

It was good to be honest. I know I'm not a member of UFS but the UFS representative spoke well and the club seem really on board with what you guys are trying to do. I'll let UFS reveal the details as and when they get a chance to type up the minutes from last night but the club are really on your side.

  7. 17/20 PL clubs have shown some sort of public interest in safe standing. Clearly for emotional reasons neither Merseyside club will openly back it so that leaves us, on our own.

Why do we think that is? Some would argue Kevin Barclay but there's photographic evidence of him with a 'legalise safe standing' banner so I'm not sure he's the problem...

Maybe we can bring it up at the FCC meeting on Wednesday?

  8. I resent having such expensive phone contracts!

I wait until I can afford the phone I want, buy it outright and then just have a £10 a month sim only contract.

Doesn't really make that much of a difference.

Say you bought an iPhone 6, £600ish. Kept it for 24months = £25p/mth

    Sim only £10 p/mth.

    Total £35p/mth

Becomes £43.33 if you only kept it for 18months.

Same difference on the whole pretty much.

Obviously if you kept it longer than 24months then it's cheaper but then again you'd re-negotiate with the service provider.
