Amartey is actually one of the things I'm happy about this season. He has had his moments, but like people have been saying all season, playing him in a 2 man midfield is hanging him out to dry. I still think he has a lot of potential, and has looked really good at times.

Amartey wasn't the problem and I much prefer out lineup with him in it. It concerns me much more that Drinkwater is a shadow of last season and we miss Schmeichel when he is absent more than you realise watching first time through. You have to remember about Amartey that he is still very young and there have been a lot of glimpses this season of the big potential that he has.

I'm a big fan of Amartey and have some pretty high hopes for him. There are so many things that he does really well but its not a cut and paste of Kante and there's not many who would be. Ranieri is a big fan of him too and I trust Ranieri but I think he needs to stop playing him and Drinky without another CM (King, Mendy etc) or at the very least Okazaki. People need to be patient, he will come very good.

Yeh I agree. Scapegoating at its finest. Has been really good for us in the majority of games and still has big potential. I think playing 4-4-2, especially without Okazaki is hanging him and Drinkwater out to dry
