Right I’m out. Plenty needs doing in the garden, no need to listen to this.

I think that “rapid unscheduled disassembly” works just fine for us too.

Well a cursory look at the odds checker suggests us winning is only the second most unlikely event expected from the next few days’ crop of games at 8-1. Man U beating Liverpool at Anfield is the least likely, 9-1.
It’s obviously not impossible that we steal a win. But I’d bet we don’t.

Also, it was a slamming free kick.
-
Looking forward to this now. Though with trepidation - I’ve been a fan for more than enough decades to think we ever make anything easy.

This is it. No one is saying Derby aren't their main rival but the denial of 'not caring about Leicester' just seems strange.
Much easier on them to be rivals with Derby - after all, when did Derby last win anything?-

I miss Jonny Evans.

Only if we sign this guy too:

I have long wanted to hear the commentary “Skipp… Skipp… Skipp to Malou… Goal!!!!”

Well that’s very amusing 😀

Well I hope this one’s worth watching for more than the 6 minutes I managed yesterday.

Another vote for the east Anglian contingent. Both decent teams with decent fans. Though I’ve got nothing against West Brom. And even Southampton at a pinch.
Just not Leeds. Hated Leeds since the 70s, and I see no reason to stop now.

Like Teddy Sheringham, “he’s got an extra yard in his head.”
Plus he deserves it. Hero.

Well this is amusing.

There’s a history of certain player who have to have the both name treatment; including our very own ‘Harvey Barnes’?No idea why?
Same reason for both reckon - it’s the rhythm - Archie Gray, Harvey Barnes, Dah-de-dah. -
Up the R’s!!!

There's still work to do to secure firstly promotion but then the title. Mondays game is huge because if we fail to win there's a real possibility Blackburn need a result last game of the season.
If we need a result in that match I think we want them needing one too, then they’ll have to have a go. We’ve done better recently against teams that have tried to win. -

Not to be rude, but its almost as if you've watched no Championship football at all.
After Southampton beat Preston 3-0, loads on here were creaming all over them and saying 'Southampton aren't going to mess this up from here'. @Harpenden Fox pipes up pointing out they likely go to Cardiff and lose - because that's what happens in the Championship. They lost against Cardiff and us, and the team that looked like they could smash and grab Leeds on the last day now look a dejected sorry mess. All in the space of 2 games.
Leeds had the same problem. On fire, the all of a sudden are getting low blocked to death and cant break teams down. They cant believe how they are 4 points behind us.
NOTHING would represent the horror of Championship existence more than us muscling out West Brom, thumping Southampton, and then getting shithoused 1-0 by Preston in a low block bore fest where they have 3 shots and 1 on target with an XG of 0.18, and Fatawu skies 5 shots and Daka skuffs everything that gets near him.
Preston will present a huge amount of difficulty for us. We have to be on it, efficient and clinical, otherwise there is the danger we end up the next Southampton. Remember the same Blackburn beat Leeds 1-0. They have a pretty tasty player in that team who would love to score a famous goal against us. The same Blackburn that dumped us out of the cup last season.
I want out of the Championship. Its horrible. Don't take it for granted. EVER.
This is exactly right. Football is like that. The Championship doubly so.

This.
I sometimes feel some people want to believe the worst of Enzo. Personally I'm super happy and have been all season. It doesn't always work - but nothing does in football.
Have we been top (when games played equalised) all season? Feels that way. Perhaps not the first few weeks?

Jesus that linesman is presumably out of a job when that gets reviewed.

****s sake. It’s football. It’s the FA cup. Play to win. Fight to win. Strongest team. We’re fans, we’re not the manager, the director of football, the finance director, it’s their jobs to think about complex ramifications - it’s ours to want the team to win and get behind them 100% to do so.
All out to win it, I can’t see why we’d **** about thinking anything else.

So I must have fallen asleep on the sofa - I dreamt that we scored, and scored first at that.
