We could have got Charles for £1-2m upfront in the summer. I was screaming for it.
This club is an embarrassment. We still don't have a proper goalkeeping coach though
Glyn Thompson from the U21s has been doing a fine job of coaching all of the talent out of Stolarczyk this season-

Rowett is watching this and thinking "You know what we need right now, Daka off for Ayew and we'll smash these"

Is Mavididi genuinely braindead?

Should've sent him back to Portugal in the summer

Well he shouldn't whatever happens, he's a firefighter. 600 games in management no honours, no promotions, just a couple of manager of the month awards.
He's a firefighter who rocks up to a house ablaze and happily sits there with his hose not connected to the water mains 😂

If Gary somehow survives for Blackburn he needs to send all of these players to the bomb squad. Persisting with the same ones who he can't get a tune out of to save his life is pure cowardice
Ricardo, Thomas and Skipp should never make another matchday squad; Daka and Mavididi should be "break glass in case of emergency"; Winks, Okoli, Fatawu and Stolarczyk not much better. Ayew and BDCR can be told to stay away from the training ground entirely.
Call up the youth to replace the dross. Lorenz Hutchinson up front. Get Page, Monga and Aluko back into the team. -

(Is this the right thread for this?)
£5.866m on agent fees between 04/02/25–02/02/26. Third-most in the Championship but half of what Ipswich spent and a lot lower than Soton as well, Shef Utd not too far behind.
Year before we spent £9,824,219

I realise this isn't relevant but why the **** did we put a shield around the badge that year?
Milan did a good job of making every kit in his era make us look like a Sunday League team.
Not sure on the reason why exactly, but it was supposed to be the shield shape used in the fox & crop crest from the 50s-70s

QuoteMarsch minutes from Leicester job before USMNT heartache
Marsch appears to have the perfect work-life balance, yet things could have panned out very differently for the 52-year-old following his departure from Leeds United in February 2023.Two months after leaving Elland Road, and in a sliding doors moment, Marsch was just minutes away from taking the Leicester City job, only to receive a surprise call from the United States Men's National Team (USMNT) while he was at the Foxes' Seagrave training facility.
It was April 8, 2023, and Marsch was undergoing formalities to get a visa with an agreement in principle already in place to replace Brendan Rodgers. Yet he soon found himself making hasty apologies to get out of a commitment to watch Leicester's home loss to Bournemouth that day despite walking into the building fully expecting to accompany sporting director John Rudkin to that game.
Marsch was led to believe succeeding Gregg Berhalter as USMNT coach was a guarantee, which is why he stood down Leicester so quickly. Yet US Soccer officials would soon change their minds, reappoint Berhalter and then, in September 2024, hand the job to former Spurs, Chelsea and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino.
"I got a call from US Soccer when I was literally being fingerprinted [for a visa] at Leicester," said Marsch. "I was ready to take that job, so it changed the trajectory of my life. I think things happen for a reason, and I'm happy with where I am right now.
"There was a match that day [against Bournemouth] and we were going to go to the [King Power] stadium together. Everything was agreed upon. And by the way, the Leicester people are fantastic. I felt terrible. It was the second time that I had pulled the rug out from under a club. It happened with Southampton as well. In another lifetime, Leicester would have been a really cool experience.

Id rather see any of you fat bastards play over this t w a t.
Lol
I have two left feet, one leg almost 5cm longer than the other, damaged knee ligaments and my ball control skills would make Daka look like Ronaldinho with a TOTY 100-rated Fifa card and I'd still fancy myself to outperform Ayew in most metrics 😂 At least I was good at running!

Of course they are but we are hiring meh managers with even more meh players.
I put more blame on players. Effort is expected. They've been playing their whole lives, no excuses for how they are performing.
Top and rudkin are absolutely the most to blame though.
I agree that the players deserve plenty of blame, but we keep setting them up to fail by hiring mediocre (or sh1te) managers who bring a team of inept coaches with them. You can have all the talent in the world but put them under sunday league coaches in this division and they'll flounder
-
Do we have an actual GK coach for the first team yet or is Glyn Thompson still filling in? Trusting Begovic to help out just because he's got his UEFA B licence hasn't gone to plan either
It's no coincidence that Jakub has regressed since Michele De Bernardin left along with Maresca-

pure "grinds out wins and keeps it tight at the back 💪" merchant, when he's managing a team expected to actually win games on a regular basis he's exposed
