  1. Us fans can be a bit irrational at times, personally I've found that a bit of cold turkey is needed when supporting your team, it helps to get rid of the toxins that build up due to how crap we've been for the last few years, thanks to our wonderful board. If you can find something else to put your energy into, then it helps with the breakup!  I will always support my team, but I'm just not going to let it screw my weekends up and become a grumpy old git.

Many people on here will know someone that has lost someone close recently, or maybe someone you care for is living with an illness/disability.  Then things can get put in perspective, it is just a game with 22 people kicking a ball around, or falling over and rolling around as if you've been shot!

  2. Where do we start? Vichai's passing? Covid and then going on to bottle top 4 place, the same happened a year later. Rodgers having too much influence at the club? Lee Congerton's transfers? Rudkin and overpaying of players, or his sanctioning of the already mentioned abysmal transfers? Not selling players and then being persuaded to become a buying club by Rodgers? Keeping Rodgers past his "use by date"?  Overpaying Rodgers? Having an irrational transfer and managerial policy.  Those at the top believing the players were capable enough to keep us up 2 times and now for the 3rd?  Rudkin getting a promotion? Nepo baby not having a clue?  Kasper leaving because he was too vocal when he saw standards dropping?  Nepo baby listening to the players and not Kasper?

I've probably forgotten to add a few, but there having been so many f**k ups at this club, and now we must become the future example of 'how not to run a football club'.

It happened over three years ago, if there was a competent football director or some accountability we could have seen it through. See many other Premier league clubs who held onto a manager for too long and signed crap players - this sort of scenario happens at every club (Villa, Forest, Everton, Leeds). And some of what youve written isn't true, Rudkin said in 22/23 he'd make the club 100m in sales and then didn't hence why they'd lined up Colwill and Johnson.

Et voilà you've come up with a counterargument, putting across how you see it, rather than labelling people thick because they see it slightly different to you.  I don't disagree with your main point that Laurel & Hardy in charge have screwed our club, but some of us see Rodgers as partly to blame.

We're blaming Brendan Rodgers who left over 3 years ago for the state of the club. We honestly have the thickest fanbase going.

People aren't solely blaming Rodgers, it was the start of it.  His buys with Lee Congerton were utter dog sh*te, he was also responsible for convincing the clowns upstairs that we needed to stop being a selling club.  Hence, one of the reasons why were in this financial mess, players weren't allowed their moves and decided to run down their contracts.  So instead of labelling people thick (I suspect you're in that camp), why don't you come up with a counterargument?

Its mad he gets blamed when literally every other manager we've had has been shite. It's the club.

Are you rage baiting?  Rodgers was the start, look how it started to get toxic at Celtic, MON had to save the day.  He's good for a couple of seasons, but don't let him bring his own players in!

I genuinely believe Brendan Rodgers was the beginning of the end. That poisonous **** should be blamed for a lot of this. That and that little boy Top who couldn’t run a bath.

Still shocked why there aren’t people running onto the pitch

Yep he' started this debacle, I don't know who's more at fault him or those that let him get away with him selling snake oil?

We're the only team who Rowett wouldn't come in and get playing. Don't rate him but it requires players who give a sh1t

Couldn't agree more, if you keep changing managers, and you get the same result, then it has to be the players/culture at the club including those two charlatans at the top.

  8. As Harold Macmillan once said 'Events, my dear boy, events'.  I'm no Nostradamus but with Trump's folly in Iran, and the disruption/cost to aviation fuel, I should imagine King Power are well and truly screwed.  No tourism = no income!

  9. I don't get why a very few on here want to do something to Vichai's statue or bring nationality into the equation.  For one, Vichai had nothing to do with the current events, and we probably could guarantee that this current state of events would not be happening.  All it takes is for one idiot to go too far.  The protest will not be about how our club has Laurel & Hardy at the helm, but will be about moronic football fans.  The media will be waiting for that one slip-up to portray everyone as a bunch of dimwit thugs.   Can't wait for Talksport's Jim White over-the-top superlatives and faux indignation, along with Simon "I'll use my word of the week 20 times in every conversation" Jordan!

  10. We've seen this before; there is a stench around the club and when the rot sets in it is so difficult for the club and players to get out of it.  This time it has been faster and more dramatic than 07/08 where there was several years of slow decline before the relegation.  It is going to take a certain type of manager to get us out of this malaise.

  11. Once a malaise has set in, the rot and stench can take some time to shake off.  Sometimes money can solve the problem, although that is out of the question, or you need a plan from the board, which is unlikely to happen.  So the only option is a coach manager with balls of steel, aka a Pearson-type personality, and that is a risk also; it can go either way.  So what hope do we fans have left: Prayer, Luck, or a Middle Eastern shiekh and pumping petro dollars into our club? I'm afraid it is going to be a bumpy ride for the next few years, and we fans will have to endure the roller coaster that has been Leicester City.

That propensity for a total collapse has been issue for 4 years now. Pretty much once Wes retired and Kasper left, our mentality has been fragile to put it politely

Yep, it has to be the club searching for a certain player profile, all nice guys, etc, but shit when it hits the fan.
