Felt like this series went out with a bit of a whimper. The odd task here and there was funny and entertaining, the rest felt a bit meh!

Next series line-up - Chloe Petts, Nina Conti, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas and Richard Ayoade.

Thought the last episode was good - enjoyed the near miss and pillow fight tasks. Otherwise I’d agree with you, just felt like something missing with this one.

Unsure about the next batch, mainly because I find Ayoade painfully unfunny.

Has anyone ever played a round that felt really good, only to then check their scorecard and it tells a completely different story? That was me this evening

All the time. Do you track any stats for your round? Usually helps to see where the shots are being lost and gives you some targeted practice areas.

A gross 77 this morning off the whites, my best round of the year so far.

Think I 'found' something with my driving which made a huge difference - grip pressure.

I know I've been guity of gripping the driver too tight in the past so made a concious effort today to grip it lightly and wow, what a difference.

Hit 12/14 fairways and gained about 15-20 yards.

Looks like you’ve inspired Bryson on how to improve his game… :D

Any tips for Paris next weekend?

It’s a bit of a marmite city but I love it. Just wander around as much as possible and take it in.

Ultimately depends what you’re into but I can recommend the Palace of Versailles and the gardens, they’re pretty spectacular.

Also Sacre Coeur worth a visit and has fantastic views.

If you want to tick off a lot of the touristy bits you can start at Arc de Triomphe, then just head in a straight line down Champs Elysees to tick off Concorde, Louvre, Notre Dame and then nip across to the Pantheon. It’s a reasonable length walk but worth doing.

Avoid the main touristy zones for food and you’ll not go wrong.

I've refused to buy any tat out of the shop for ages but.....

I really like this poster and would love it but £50 quid for an unframed poster, (despite the misleading name) is surely taking the michael

Anyone know if I can source this elsewhere at a more reasonable price?

Looks like it’a a ‘The Beautiful Frame’ piece, they did a great Vardy poster too. Sadly I doubt it’ll be cheaper direct from them.

  6. Tough to call a winner from this. Very interesting to see what they do with the pin positions.

I’d punt on Rahm, McIlroy or Schauffelle - think the guys with previous major wins will take the course on a bit more.

Rory tees off the 10th exactly 3 hours after starting his round.

Pace of play is becoming a joke.

I couldn’t believe yesterday when they said it was taking 6 hours. Size of field and the difficulty around the greens clearly doesn’t help, but even so 6 hours is outrageous.

  8. Definitely seems more like a US Open type set up. Some of these putts are frightening.

Can’t see the winning score being a low one especially if the wind stays up.

For anyone who watches the development squad how would Logan Briggs fit into men’s football. Would he suit a more attacking box to box role similar to JJ’s role this season or is he a 10/winger?

He’d struggle physically imo. Tidy player but would need a Chilwell/KDH type transformative summer to be competitive as he’s not stand out enough from a technical perspective.

  10. I’m still in infuriating form, playing excellent golf tee to green but the putter isn’t behaving. Might confine it to the garage and go on a spending spree, as I’m sure it’s the club to blame rather than me…
