We need someone disciplined, straight talking to the players and a manager with an idea on how to set a team up in practice, not theory.
Not sure if Fuchs is ready or can drill this into players, but we have seen he knows how to play and complete the basics then pull out the extras when needed.
Our wing play has been terrible for years. We need a fresh start with coaching staff and players, full backs and wingers that pass, move cross or shoot.
Don’t forget a decent striker.

Pre injuries wonderful player, one of the best in the world in his position and certainly comes across as a nice / good person.
He was completely the wrong choice for a captain though. Failed in his leadership of a team.
also, after relegation was confirmed he didn’t speak to any fans, drove of quickly. As captain his responsibility, not for Page or hamza to do so. That’s my only dispute with Ricardo.Shouldn’t your dispute be with the person who made him captain. He hasn’t been of the same standard on the pitch in recent years but still a model professional albeit crocked by injuries.

Assuming "that" season is 2015/2016, i'd argue Vardy became even better in the following 3 or 4 seasons. Under Puel he was insanely good given how little got created for him and then at the start under Rodgers.
For that entire period id argue he was world class under most definitions. Pace, movement, finishing off both feet and head, work rate, even his link up and 1 touch lay offs were well above average.
Agreed. Given his conversion rate as well which over a sustained period was right up there.

Who are you selling our crap to? This is the major issue that we will have thus Summer. We want to keep the players that other teams want and sell the players that nobody wants.
Worse still we want to buy the players nobody wants. That’s what got us here. How on earth is Turdkin still here. As for the Macquarie deal…

The sub of James for Winks summed him up and his contempt for the fans.
Bringing Winks on was a **** you to all Leicester supporters. Should never have played for the club again.
My heart sank when he did it but I understand that jordan james has a bright future and his game time has to be managed after injury. If we had already been relegated then I’d hope that winks would not have been in the stadium. Now he needs to show that he has some integrity left. The other overpaid and underperforming staff and players should do the same. We all know they won’t. Let the games begin.

Admin, points deductions like Luton and Sheff Weds, drop to League Two. Sell off assets and struggle for several years to come.
Yep and I think that the likelihood of that is higher and more imminent than some people realise.

Sadly though, he's now off to the premier league and we are going down to League 1.
JJ you gave us something we haven't had much of for a long while, a player we actually want to stick around and be with us for the long term, but you don't deserve to stall your career for the sake of this incompetent ownership/board/playerbase.
Best of luck for the future, you've got a great career ahead!I feel exactly the same way but I’d love him turn around and say he is joining and although it’s been a crap season he will fight for us and give it a go for one year in league one. Very unlikely I know as he doesn’t owe us anything but it would be a big step forward in our rebuild. We need players with passion ability and energy who will fight for the badge and hope that it becomes infectious. Either way he has been the bright spot of this season for us and that will not be forgotten.

We sold to many key players last summer even if we had kept Justin, Mcateer and Ndidi we stay up we could have even gave Vardy another year.
Dudkin fails yet again
Exactly but also how many posters on here berated those players. To be fair they were not the only ones and we have had a terrible two years. The problems start at the very top and down through the management chain. If we don’t sort that out we won’t ever start to see an upturn.
Swapping KDH out for skipp was painful. KDH would have been so important to us this season and for what comes next.

We could have done with him in the rebuild.
we did get a good market rate for him though. So many of our home grown talent have gone on to do well at other clubs. I wonder why.

You reckon he’d do better with our defence? Absolutely no chance.
No come on. Everyone knows we don’t have a defence. I stand by my views on lampard.

Lampard’s a shite manager. He won’t last long next season.
Culture wise you’re spot on though. The reason for the success is because they’ve been brilliant at recruiting player wise for a good few years now.
I’d take him almost over any of the ones we have had recently. Not that he would come near us at the moment. Definitely not shite.

Can’t stand them but if it’s one fanbase that deserves this it’s them. They’ve been through horrific times from moving to a shit ground, getting kicked out of it and playing in the fourth division.
It shows what is possible if you get the right management team and culture. Good luck to them.

The ethos throughout the while club is wrong. We expect to be at the top table because of what we have achieved and so have been complacent when all indicators point to ongoing systemic failures over many years. This has resulted in a lack of accountability for poor performance and leadership and the view that everything will be alright rather than making changes when required or at all to bring about improvement
This is it. In any other successful club under-performing players or management are identified and managed properly and if the performance cannot be improved they are managed out and replaced with those who can. Football is quite unique in the way it operates compared to other businesses and all clubs suffer to an extent due to the way contracts work in the sport but our complacency and lack of professional care stands out. A singular example is the lack adequate striker options this season which would have made a real difference.

Oliver skipp. What a statement signing that was.

He should be starting over Ayew but should never be anywhere near penalties. Would like to see Mukasa given 30 up front if we get ahead against Wednesday or Preston and see if he can do a job there, especially with Ramsey due back
Or james on penalties if he is on the pitch. I’d also be prepared to give Richards a go up too instead of Daka. It’s beyond tolerable now.

He’s obviously a step above anything we’ve got, it’s just whether he stays fit.
Yes we brings a solid presence to the defence and an air of authority. I thought he looked secure on the ball too. I think his presence rubbed off a bit on Thomas who had a good game today.

Will take that. Next time pick a penalty taker who knows how to score.

I suspect they will and do we know if any psr issues for 25/26 incurs collaboration between championship and league 1 like we saw with the premiership and championship?
