Persisting with Ayew will bury us..

I genuinely don't get it. Every time he plays his on goal stats are 0 and thats not just finding the net, shots, shots on target, assists, he'll  have a few passes which are always backwards or sideways, hes an impotent passenger leaving us essentially playing every game with 10.

If he has a yt highlights you would think its when someone tricked their way into a footy club.

6 decades of watching our beloved City and for me arguably the most charlatan useless waste of space I've seen!.

Sorry to hear that, and hope you're better soon. please dont go spending your money if you dont have a lot, id be happy to donate some money in your name, just let me know. I hope that doesn't come across as patronising, and apologises if it does, but im always happy to help a fellow fox. Focus on getting better and spend your money on your health and your family. All the best.

  3. I must admit until Shef U away I kept up hope we'd be fine, definitely another season in the championship but we'd be fine.

Then after MC went into that game with no type of change to a team we'd lost to barely over a month before, i thought with any points deduction,  these players and MC i could see us going down.

It somehow got worse, now I see only relegation for our club, yet the more terrifying thought is Top still won't sell, probably won't learn and there are darker places we may go.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been working away, meeting different groups of people. When we get talking football, and so tell them who I support it’s met with a “haha you’re shit you are” this is coming from people who support teams in leagues one and two……

I think this genuinely is the only time I’m embarrassed to support the club. Currently I wouldn’t be seen dead wearing anything LCFC related……  other than potentially an old school jersey…

It’s a good job my NFL team are decent…. I’ve genuinely for the first time ever give more of a shit about a team I follow thousands of miles away, than a club I’ve been besotted with since I was a child….

And it’s entirely Top and Rudkin fault.

Even before that we always had respect.

I worked all over the country and it was surprising how many would say they liked us and had a soft spot for our club and how they remembered great games win, lose or draw against us.

Now I would hiding from the banter, I feel for all our fans that now face mockery and derision from all walks.

  5. The trouble is since Vichais passing Rudderless has been like a surrogate father to Top.

In their culture Rudderless probably has infinite loyalty points.

Top will only defend him, he won't haul him in over coals, he'll not see him at any fault and the situation will stay the same until this is broken.

Sadly it seems just like Sean Bean, only Rudderless can kill Rudderless, it won't be Top

  6. Abduls going nowhere, he genuinely loves being here, loves the fans and feels he owes them, he was also overwhelmed by the support of the club and fans during the ACL.

If we dont get promotion, agent pressure and ambitions may start to kick in, until then he's here, so let's bask in watching him grow and terrorising defences

  7. Vichal came with aspirations for the club and then fell in love with the City and it's community.

Top will try to deliver his dad's dream, but it will never come from the same place or be his number one focus

  8. Trouble is the constant broken promises around transfers and the dreadful accounting, is going to put off any decent calibre manager.

Even Enzo said it was a surprise that they had to sell in jan to buy, something he wasn't told when he took the job, similar with BR but id have closed the purse strings on that buffoon too.

The financial side would have to be totally sorted and a guaranteed war chest available before any rated manager would entertain us.

I think even your Robin's types would turn us down with the mess the club has got in

  9. Vichai treat LCFC and the community like the closest most beloved relative.

Top doesn't feel imo like he's a 100% in at LCFC and I've thought this for a while.

Is it now time for him to admit he can't commit to or run us like Vichai and sell?

(Please delete if there is a thread elsewhere for this 😀 )

  10. I try to stay positive about City, yet honestly this season even ive struggled, usually my bro is the, we're gonna lose, member of the family, but sadly thats me now!.

Maybe its a lesson Top and the club needed, but i think we're gone from the prem tomorrow. I truly hate saying it but seeing the fight in teams like Bournemouth, Forestscum, Leedscum, even the toffees to some extent, and whats been offered up by our lads, its hard to see any other outcome.

Hopefully mondays performance can be built on, yet i think its too little too late.

I hope im wrong and would be glad to have egg on my face come the final whistle.

For me in my 30 years supporting the club that's my least enjoyable season. The feeling of disconnect between the club and the fans, the reluctance to sack that turd of a manager and the lack of passion from the players has been truly nauseating. Shame on everybody involved

Its a hard one to take, ive seen a couple of shockers in my 45 years of following my beloved City but what makes this harder is your point about the disconnect. I agree 100% its something ive never really felt, not even during Hamilton, Pleat, League 1 downers. Have never felt so on the outside of the club i love.

  12. Bit gutted on WF, we'd already lost Chouders to Watford and we needed someone with amazing hair to be our new cult figure, our prayers looked to have been answered when we got our own Dave Louis, and it seemed our one was actually good. Move forward 8 months, and we find Penn and Teller working out how he pulled off such an amazing magic trick.

Its obviously been said but WF has become WtF!.

  13. Hard to blame DS, Top,Board and BR take the blame for this.

By the end of the 2nd season BR had done what hes done at all clubs pre Celtic, become divisive, blameless for anything, belittled players (yes he was right, some thought they were better than they were but all the other managers gave them so much belief, they were galvanised and had the confidence to take the game to the opposition, give all for the fans and the club but since he started spouting crap, the fractures started, players wanting out or not even spoke too.

We also have looked unfit for a couple of seasons now, something DS alluded to, we'll not get them fit in the short time he said, and for me he was right.

Then add the board and Top, the questionable players brought.

No activity in the summer window due to the clubs finances, but then months later, when its too late, he wipes the debt, yes a big thing but big time too late.

Tops been too distracted by non football related matters at the club, and also throughout his other club and businesses, obviously he hasnt been here as much since his dads passing.

he could do that before his dads tragic loss but that left a big 50% missing, Top needed to step up but instead, left a club with top 6 aspirations in the hands of a academy coach and a business ceo.

BR should have gone long before the world cup but definitely after the run before the WC.

Hiring of a new man, seemed panicked and unstructured, names like Marsch and Smith should never have entered the equation or been in a position to apply in the first place

  14. To be honest, i can't see too many staying anyway. From back to front, those i think won't stay.

Ricardo, Evans (if offered prem by anyone) Timmy, Cags, Vesta, Bertrand, Mendy, Madders, Tiels, Barnes, Tete, praet, Maybe Vards gives it 1 more in the EFL but possibly retires, and i could see Nacho going somewhere like villa or a n other middling prem team.

What it leaves, well!, lets hope Top has got his crypto stocked, and hopefully Rudderless will have a new edition of FM 23-24. Cause we all know this charlatan will still be DoF next season.

  15. Sadly still out for me, too much weaseling from the guy.

Vampires desire and confidence from the players. And for a while has been seriously tactically inept. Nice to beat forest (spits) and leeds scum but lets face it, both are total relegation fodder, the real tests are yet to come and soon!.

  16. A decent win and a decent performance.

I do think a quality side might have made us pay for some of our mistakes, but at least all seemed in for the cause and maybe earned that luck by actually putting in 90mins.

Was it me? or did Ward seem to have a real spring in his step, a confidence tonight?.

Lastly Faes looked far more settled tonight, a couple of wilder moments but all round a decent performance. If he pushes on and improves, could be up there with our more iconic defenders.
