I’ve been banned from general chat for suggesting Keir was tearful this morning and it maybe mirrored some posters thoughts on the subject - gutted I didn’t go out on something more controversial lol

Not sure that's why you were banned is it? I saw stuff which could be considered more confrontational than that.

Doing unique stuff like they did with Stanway and Shearer is good. Felt like something different from the others.

The other podcasts are really struggling with the lack of ability to get people to guest for a variety of reasons

It's feeling a bit tired as i feared already....

Maguire is crap, and Viera isn't saying anything. They've already done the Gary Lineker shitting himself story so it's going to be very tired in a months time. A daily show is too much i think for the format.

McCullum and Stokes shoukd have gone after the ashes, dreadful winter, poor discipline off the pitch.

    Nothing has changed.

Stokes proved by not playing that we need him massively.

Also showed how big the step up is from the county championship. Rew looked miles off it and so did Baker.

Key needs to go, they've completely ballsed up this investigation. Looks like they did nothing wrong and didn't even know the curfew applied post game.

It’s irrelevant he was taking us there at a fast pace. Honestly I don’t know how anyone can sit a watch the insipid shit that his teams served up and say that he deserved more time and wouldn’t have taken us down, the trend was downward, the guy had no plan a let alone a plan b, he would not have turned that around. We were bottom of every single key metric under him it was a matter of time, strangely we did use every bit of luck we had in his games. At best he deserved to win 3 games, 2 of those against Derby the rest we were lucky. We had the worst defensive days, worst distance covered, worst press, most goals against from set pieces, most possession conceded in dangerous areas. He was a ****ing awful clown who should have never got the job. He took us down.

Not saying Marti was good, just saying Rowett was a lot lot worse!

Cifuentes got us relegated pure and simple, his team, playing his way, his coaches, he had 2/3rds of the season to make sure we were well away from the relegation zone beating the likes of Wrexham, Blackburn and Pompey at home. However, he did not because he was a useless shit ****. Neither manager should have ever been at this club. Comparing a bloke brought in to turn around a team that couldn’t play pass or defend for shit, to a blokes coaching that led us there is wild. Then using an Oxford team that is punching above its weight ( he saved last year) as a double relegation. Especially when it’s claimed it’s not everyone’s favourite cheeky Spanishmans fault we were relegated here but is Rowetts fault at a club he was sacked from several games before Cifuentes!! Bizarre!

I forgot that Marti was in the relegation zone for zero days whilst he was here and also managed to win 2 games in 13. Bizarre!

The world cup really shines a light on how dreadful Gary "lets not be kidding ourselves oh my god to be fair this is sort of like Manchester United we're talking about here" Neville actually is.

He's all you see for 10 months of a Premier League season. Refreshing to be able to see other pundits who aren't desperately trying to say something outrageous.

He can't go 5 minutes without crying about the conditions either.

He used to be so good but sadly he's disappeared up his own backside. He's on too much stuff now and is a very irritating human being so his voice gets grating after a while.

  7. Bit mixed on the rest is football - i've watched a few episodes and it's actually pretty good, but a few bits i can't really get my head around. How they're going to make it entertaining when it's a daily show will be a challenge, plus dialing Richards in is very odd. They've also not got any rights to any of the actual football. Watched the first episode and thought it'd be dreadful but i was pleasantly surprised. Lampard and Cole were very good.

    No he wasn’t.
He’ll never be one of our greatest managers but also he’s not one of our worst.
    He’s somewhere in the middle.

Rodgers came in and took that team to 8th - when he arrived we were in free fall and about 14/15th.

The team he had - had Maguire, Chilwell and Vardy - all in the England squad, and Maddison, Ndidi, Evans, Schmeichel - he even had Mahrez for a time. For the level of talent the output was dire.

Got the potential to be talked about as 1 of the greats by the time he finishes, like the Kiwi’s talk about the Barretts for instance.

He hasnt. Hes good but hes nowhere near that good. Classic English mentality to build him up to knock him down

He was good tonight though tbf to him.

No he was at Notts academy until he was 13 and and was already a huge prospect he bowled Ben Stokes in the nets when he was 11.Left Notts because his dad had a fall out with the Notts coaching staff.Notts still receive payment when he plays for England.

A fallout so terrible his other brother is there?

Not sure Reha n can be counted as academy sadly he came from.Notte.Alex Green though yes very much so

He didn't - that's his brother. Been at Leicestershire for a long time (since he was 13) and netted with Leicestershire and Notts when he was 9-13.

If he does a really good job then international call will come

depends how tempting that position is when it comes

Surely Dowson more likely? or Sean Edwards? I can't see it just yet - Borthwick was always part of the England setup, whereas Geoff isn't. I like the way Parling wants to go, less superstars, more homegrown.

Bailey has been a revelation this year - I think he's a good a 12 as there is in the division.

    You can’t be serious??

Everyone, literally everyone always say how bloody difficult getting out that damn Championship is to the promise land, wether automatically or through play offs, yet because you don’t like Martin your just going too by pass that achievement? And claim it as nothing?? Give over :D

Don’t like his style of play fair enough, done terrible everywhere else he’s been fair enough, thrown players under tanks and don’t like his persona bla bla bla yeh that’s fine, that can all be said.

Don’t discredit a factual decent achievement though just because you don’t like him.

Let’s hope he gets the support he needs on the rebuild from the new SD, and that atleast it’s going too be started earlier than expected if he’s to be confirmed this week.

We've got the actual sporting director posting on here pretending hes just an interested party 🤣
