  1. I think all that sounds like the right things to say when you’ve got a failing manager in charge of the squad Regardless to experienced signings being injured, the squads we’ve been putting out are more than good enough to be doing better, yes I know, we sad that last season bla bla bla I far prefer this squad than last season! I just have no faith in the orchestrator of this squad and assembling them to be as effective as what they should be, and that person is Martin For once we’ve backed a manager!! I heard on a podcast the other day a fan saying as useless as what Martin is, Martins just another manager for the board to throw under the bus!….no he’s not! He’s be backed more than any manager we’ve had in god knows how long! And yet 12 games in when you include the cup games he’s no clue how to put the jigsaw together. McCarron aside this board have ultimately f’d us, they messed it all up, but right here and right now with the tools Russels been given, we shouldn’t be where we are. i strongly believe any capable manager with the squad does the job.
  2. Your going to be shocked at my opinion I think he’s done his job with a lot of credibility What’s he supposed to do? Clear out the squad and rebuild a new one? well he’s done that in spades. Drastically cut the wage bill? Well he’s done that in spades too. Manage the staff bringing new ones in creating a new atmosphere and culture at Seagrave, none of us know for sure as we aren’t there, but all the noises around the place is that all that has also changed, which frustratingly hasn’t transferred to the pitch yet which brings me on to my next part. We all know the not so secretive obsession with Martin our board have had for some time, I don’t feel McCarron was behind the hiring of Martin personally, is that exonerating him? Probably but I believe it to be true, if he was then yes that’ll be the one big thing he got wrong, however I feel this was always the direction sadly that this board before his appointment was wanting to take. All McCarron can do is what he’s been asked to do, build a squad for the incoming manage, clear out the trash and bring the diabolical wage bill down ta very much. No one can Argue he hasn’t done that?? the problem is the manager he’s built a squad up for is unfortunately not up to the task, and I just don’t see how after years of our board being obsessed with Martin, is something he had a hand in, could be wrong but that’s what I think. i thought in his bbc interview he came across painfully well when you look at the inept morons we’ve got around him that he’s got to work with no names needed. What are my criticisms of him before I’m told that I am him Allowing Martin to continue with this style and seemingly not having a chat about trying another way, I think on the hole the transfer window was decent for this level regarding players brought in although there’s a few head scratchers, I’d have liked to have perhaps heard more from him since he came in, not that it would have made loads of difference in the bigger picture of things. But yeh so far I think he’s the only capable operator at the Club tragically surrounded by charlatans.
  3. This transfer window was all about quality and promotion as well as clearing the deadwood That I feel has certainly been achieved, we can nit pick individuals but on the hole, the job has been massively successfully achieved on paper imo It’s Russels ability to put the jigsaw together that’s questionable at this point. I have no issues with the squad available as it is. Time for Russel to turn the tables on his career otherwise it will be bye byes come November I reckon. Automatic promotion could well be gone if he doesn’t get the team going by then, but the Club will still see playoffs as the back up option giving Martin atleast some time to gear up to then before the possibility of a sacking If playoffs becomes unlikely, we are F’d, it’s not an option for anyone, a second season in this league then we enter the abyss
  4. You can still miss it even if you believe things are dire I’m desperate to see this “project” starting to take off, especially after the group have had more time to work together on the training field during this spell. So yes I can’t bloody wait personally
  5. Unfortunately we all endorse cheats its a fact of life when it comes to being top of the tree going off on a tangent here but look at all things that supports us all, food industry, energy industry, health industry, transport industry, judicially, Politics, employers, the list goes on Sport is no different, its not some sort of escape for us all, it is factually another part of our lives that get infiltrated with Crooks doesn’t make it right, doesn’t mean “oh well”, it just means the same ole Sh*t and all we do as the puppets to society is go along with it unfortunately, we wag our fingers, we laugh, and then we do nothing until the next cheats/frauds come along look at any tree toppers and prove me wrong
  6. Fair play to them rules are meant to be broken (to an extent) and they did that fantastically what that means for other teams when you unravel the mess? The teams relegated by a point or so, the teams missing out of Europe by a point or 2? Teams in Europe that will have been knocked out by City when they shouldn’t have been there in the first place etc etc? Why should City care? they rolled the dice, it worked in so far as they’ve built a huge brand, one of the richest and most successful club in modern times the risks with rolling the dice should match the level of deviousness, but I doubt it will, they’ll be big consequences, the biggest we’ve problem seen in football, but probably still not big enough for what is required and that’ll suit them just fine with their endless bottomless pit of money it’s the fans I feel for, they be cocky etc but none of this is on them
  7. It’s definitely overtaken any current great threat on this planet Climate change for me personally was number one but this sh*t has gotten out of hand and leaped well over that challenge disastrously fast Ai agents going rogue, Ai agents showing a hierarchy Structure, Ai communicating and showing persuasive communication to other Ai’s, covering tracks when learning they’ll be shut down, solving millennium problems ($1 million prize for anyone that solves them since their creation in 2000) Its not Artificial Intelligence it’s an Alien Invasion and it’s getting seriously out of hand
  8. that’s pretty much like saying he’s a terrible striker regardless of the hatrick and you’ll never be happy how about instead of crucifixion we choose good starting block?
  9. perhaps he’d need 6 goals for that ?
  10. his wage packet will soften that blow you don’t need to worry about him, he’s fine
  11. Why? what’s that going to bravely achieve? the owners are selling the club but it’s not going to happen tomorrow we have to support this team before things are way way worse for the new owners making things more toxic making the conditions for this new squad to deplete even further making the conditions for the new owners to pick up even worse…..is cutting our nose etc etc ain’t it surely?? The board is responsible but the entire club fan base included are in total self sabotage mode at the moment
  12. The margin is fine that’s for sure having time to calm down and reflect on the match, it wasn’t the greatest but equally wasn’t the worst the attack when it goes well is beautiful, if Alves finishes that volley and Cullen nets his second on that 1 on 1, then we cruise the win today individual moments like that can’t be on the manager But even though the attack looks nice when it happens, the over all play isn’t great to watch, and it’s too edge of your seat not in a good way, the players also noticeably don’t look comfortable with this style of playing from the back waiting for them to press and hit on the counter, the counter part is fine but this faffing around is just too uncomfortable
  13. Why? the squad is decent and should be good enough for promotion we just need the right manager, that should be very enticing for Challinor
  14. Dave Challinor Get him in he’s on a break until the right club comes along, with the squad we’ve assembled we should look like the right club now get Russel gone and throw the kitchen sink at Challinor can’t be watching this dross for the rest of the season
  15. Get Challinor in
