Am I out the loop? You're not a petro-state club and your fans aren't mouthing off all over the internet, by default that makes you better than 90% of clubs in the league.
If Pedro can get fit, a top 4 club could come in for him. He's that good, and could fetch £60-70m if he puts in a consistent 6 months at the end of the season. Unfortunately, he's becoming a bit of a sick note, which may also work against a potential Buonanotte sale.
For Rutter, it was an odd signing based on the fee and his previous clubs. He's actually shown some good potential (not £40m worth, mind) but currently he's not really offering more than Buonanotte in that role. I would suggest you're correct in thinking we'd rather sell Buonanotte for £40m than Rutter for £40m, purely from a PSR perspective. That being said, Bloom took some odd decisions this summer in terms of transfers, and so it's getting hard to second guess his motives. As always, he's thinking one or two steps ahead of the crowd.
