  1. Ohne Hoffnung kann man als Schalke oder HSV-Fan doch gar nicht mehr überleben
  2. Congrats to Ruud! I was really looking forward to seeing him in Hamburg, but I totally understand that Leicester is a bigger opportunity for him. I’m hopeful that our Plan B—Rydström from Malmö—will work out well. His relationism playstyle is exciting! Wishing you all the best for the rest of the season, and it’s been great interacting!
  3. For german second devision Standards we have money. But no comparison to the amount of money in England.
  4. Would be a total Twist, because in Germany no one expects RvN to go to Hamburg. Altough there were the rumors a HSV ex. flying to London today...
  5. God forbid! Don’t get me wrong—he did two years of great work in Hamburg (came very close to promotion). But at some point, he ran out of steam, and he only ever had one tactical plan! In the end, that just didn’t work anymore against deep-lying opponents.
  6. Hi, HSV fan here. We have a bit of the same problem as you—it's very quiet around our new appointment. Ruud has actually been ruled out as unrealistic by some German media, mainly due to Leicester's interest (which makes sense; we were once a big club, but we just can't quite manage to get out of the second division anymore). What's interesting, though, is that Ruud had a meeting with our management last winter but wasn’t available in the spring when Walter was fired (who, by the way, is doing great at Hull right now—irony off). Now, an insider wrote this morning that our sporting director, Costa, is flying to London today to meet Ruud. That would fit with the silence around Leicester. However, I find it strange that Ruud would be in London and not Manchester. The insider has had a mixed track record so far. He later deleted his post and apologized for sharing such internal information. Let’s see—things are definitely getting interesting. Best of luck to you! (Leicester, along with Aston Villa—where I once attended a match—is my favorite PL club, so I hadn’t expected that both clubs would ever compete for the same manager ;)).
