I don’t have strong views on the ownership but rather the executives the ownership has put in place. Rudkin should go, not because the fans don’t like him but rather because he has done a poor job over an extended period of time. Some of the signings beggar belief considering the money spent as we are all aware. He’s not responsible for highly paid players choosing to soft pedal because they don’t want to be here. That’s on them. Realisticly, a successful season from here would be: a. Change to the execs b. Take whatever points deduction we get to put that chapter to bed c. Get rid of the expensive dead wood d. Don’t get relegated e. Build again I think b-e was the boards plan for this season all along. A bit like when Jimmy Stewart uses a starter cartridge to clean out the engine - they aren’t going to say ‘we are burning this season because of the mess we have got ourselves in’. The phoenix did fly again though.

I will be going tonight. However I’m not a happy clapper. The idea that fans that don’t boycott are blind the bin fire the club has become off the pitch and lack of effort on it is ridiculous. Whilst recognising the disease, I just don’t agree that the proposed medicine is affective. However, looking at the ticket availability (my wife is away so the ticket is up in hope rather than expectation) I doubt I’ll be queuing long for the toilets.
