First of all a big thanks to BTG for the invite onto the show, have always liked Leicester going back to the days of Keith Weller and co back in the ‘70’s.
In answer to some of the ‘specialist’ questions.
1: I’m not familiar with Creme Eggs up my jacksy but I did win the Manchester University Creme Egg eating competition in 1981, knocking back half a dozen of them in just over a minute. Unfortunately I celebrated the victory by going to a gig (think it may have been The Undertones) and produced a Creme Egg omelette on the dance floor after pogoing too vigorously to one of their top tunes.
2: Bear all day long, they would drag the croc out of water where they’d have a strength and nimbleness advantage
3: I did have the snip back in 1995, it was very painful mainly because the surgeon was a Manchester United fan and the previous day United had lost 4-0 to Barcelona and he was not in the mood for someone taking the piss out of his team. To make matters worse the stitches became infected and I ended up with a huge cyst which looked as if I’d grown a third testicle for about 6 months. Putting on a box in the cricket nets became an even more important part of my cricket routine when batting than ever before.
