Think the top three are always likely to draw interest, its highly likely agents may be enticing clubs to take a closer look, while the latter names are not too fussed as they know they are under contract and will probably get a move regardless.

Spoke to one of JS mates (ex academy player) he isn't moving unless the club choose to cash in, he's just got engaged and him and his partner are settled

If that is so and he stays, he needs to sign a new contract as there is no way an asset should be in the final year of his contract - something the club has struggled to grasp in the past

  2. Yes I understand the frustrations, but he is so inexperienced at this stage. Senior management and more experienced staff should take full responsibility.

It's like pointing fingers at the teenage apprentice learning their trade in a workplace. Providing a positive working environment progresses their development - something that the club has failed at. More figures like Kingy from our successful period should be brought back to foster a positive culture at the club.

I genuinely believe the lack of game time for young players last season was worse for the club than relegation itself.

It was the best opportunity to flush the rubbish and bring back some direction into the team and we wasted it. Now young players are looking at their prospects here and realising that older players will always be prioritised.

Whilst I do agree with the majority of what you have said, I don't think a 15 year old should have exposure in the first team and be fast tracked that quickly. Promoting him to the under 21's was the correct decision, however the club needs to lay out their intentions and give him a pathway to the first team alongside this - which I highly doubt they have. The tribunal fee system is not fit for purpose and needs changing here.

I do agree that Page, Nelson (earlier in the season), Monga and players further in their development should have had more first team game time and who can blame them for wanting out as older players were prioritised.

That may be true, not that it matters with a club their size as a player wants to go there regardless. But it’s not like he’s going to play for the first team.

he is still far better suited to getting games under his belt. Moving to qpr and playing well would be better for his career than man united at this stage

But players are poorly advised, money talks and the chance to join your favourite club doesn't come around often.

I hope he stays and agree with everything that you said.

Just another example of a young talented player losing confidence and regressing at our toxic club.

There are clearly players in that dressing room that undermine their team mates.

The young players are the most likely to be affected by their negativity, and we can see every single young player going backwards.

A functioning football department with a competent DOF would support a manager to eradicate those negative forces in the squad (and would have probably not recruited them in the first place).

Again, a player that is a symptom of our problem (incompetent leadership) that will thrive in a functioning elite sporting environment.

    Spot on.

There was an account on Twitter claiming he’s on the move this summer.

Can’t remember the name but they were followed by a few other accounts that are legit.

Bit of a weird one this summer as if we do end up in League One god knows what the squad will be like and will that open the door for more youngsters?

I said the same when we dropped to the Championship. Our recruitment will sign crap again on big wages which will block the pathway for our youngsters.

Page, Skipp, James, Winks, Choudhury, Ricardo, Ramsey, Reid and Golding are all capable of playing.

Yes the majority of this list are currently injured but they should be back in good time to play without needing to sign up for 6 months of £80k a week.

We don't know the severity of injuries - thats the problem. Ricardo hasn't been deployed in that position this season for reasons we do not know.

Reid and Ramsey - can they deeper in midfield? Golding - I haven't watched him closely so reserve judgment.

So that leaves us with three players, to cover two positions IMO.
