Out of contract at the end of the season
-
I have read comments on several threads about contracts ending in 2024. There are 15 according to the FT players page.
Loans Doyle Casadei Akgun Fatawu
Permanant Albrighton Vardy Smithies Iheanacho Choudhury Vestergarrd Ndidi Praet Thomas Nelson
Marcal-Madivadua
Depending on what division we are in how many deserve a new contract ?

Getting tired of this stupid 2 goalkeepers on the bench. Could give a youngster some match day experience

You mean the Telegraph that's owned by billionaires who live in a tax haven and support Brexit? Uncanny coincidence.
Lloyds bank owns the Telgraph now after it was put into receivership earlier this month

Who remembers anything significant from when they were 2 years old?
You are such a sad person. Why pick on my grandson, he is going to a game with his dad.
Wont bother posting again

To tell the truth he is in hospitalty and will probably be more interested in any cake

Just discovered my grandson is going today .
His first game and he is not 3 yet, so it better be a good result

The trouble is leadership and confidence comes from the top down.
We dont seem to have that

Meanwhile, Howe has turned Newcastle into Brazil. Rodgers has turned us into Barrow.

European Football and the upcoming UEFA wages limit on turnover will have a effect. Both on players leaving and coming.

Expect a few to go as we probably wont have European games next season

It’s not fair to throw the young kids in the team atm, it would be awful for their confidence when the fans start booing them after we concede a corner.
The game against Newcastle was just the sort of game to give a youngster 15 minutes. But he never does this and says the player is not ready.
If you do not give them a taster now and again how is he ever going to know

When Rodgers first took over, our team was the following:
Schmeichel
Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell
Tielemans Ndidi
Gray Maddison Barnes
Vardy
2 1/2 years later, has our starting 11 improved ? I actually think our last few transfer windows have been baffling…..sell Chilwell and we replaced him with a right back who can half do a job at left back, and then ending up with an average free transfer this window. The right winger position should of been number 1 priority, not a central midfielder where we already had 5. I just think we haven’t properly addressed issues to the squad and 1 or 2 positions have been replaced with mediocrity, and all of a sudden you end up with dross like Bertrand and Vestergaard in your starting 11
Does he have the ability to replace players that are past there best or badly performimg.
Possibly recently he has dropped under performing players but I doubt he would ever drop Schmeichel for instance who is near the end of his career and not performing to the levels he used to achieve as truly top class manager would.

Too arrogant to change things. Its his way or the highway
Same old favourites, whats the point if you just play the same team.

I know by what catastrophe would we ever need Morgan, Fuchs and Amartey in the same game!
Morgan and Fuchs on at 85 minutes
Could have had one of the under 23s on the bench in place of Mendy/Choudhury

England, until they've won one.
Suppose depends on your age. Watched the1966 final, but have completley lost interest now in international since the turn og the century
Hopefully we beat Man City in the FA cup final in revenge for 1969

Hopefully the players with a chance of playing in the world cup next year will leave to improve their chances of being selected.
