Deon Burton's afro Posted 10 September 2005 Posted 10 September 2005 OK, I'm not able to make the game today but I still need 3 people to complete the questionnaire, so I'll post it and I'll take the answers of the first three people in the thread. I had 3 LCFC fans willing to complete it but I wasn't around last night and only just read the PMs. P.S: Despite my username, I am indeed a Wednesday fan Here's the questionnaire: 1. Firstly, will this be your first visit to Hillsborough later on in the season, if so are you looking forward to it, if you've been before tell us about your experience? 2. Which teams do you think will be promoted from The Championship this season? 3. Which teams do you think will be relegated from The Championship this season? 4. Who are your team's key players? 5. Which aspect of your team would you describe as a weakness? 6. Who is your favourite Leicester player, past and present? 7. Do you have confidence in your manager to achieve your club's target this season? 8. If you could have one player from any other Championship team for your squad who would it be? 9.How do you feel about the signing of ex-Wednesday target Iain Hume? 10. How do you think Sheffield Wednesday will fare this season, and what would you says the key to success in the Championship? 11. Key striker David Connolly recently left for Wigan in a £2M deal? What are thoughts on the deal, and how do you think Leicester City will cope without him?
Leicester_Mad Posted 10 September 2005 Posted 10 September 2005 1. Firstly, will this be your first visit to Hillsborough later on in the season, if so are you looking forward to it, if you've been before tell us about your experience? Havent been before and wont be going this season due to being a student  2. Which teams do you think will be promoted from The Championship this season? Wolves, Southampton, Norwich 3. Which teams do you think will be relegated from The Championship this season? Millwall, Brighton, Stoke 4. Who are your team's key players? Gareth Williams is probably the key - if he plays poor the team is playing poor but when he is involved we seem to do a lot better 5. Which aspect of your team would you describe as a weakness? Defending set pieces  6. Who is your favourite Leicester player, past and present? Past: Steve Walsh - Mr Leicester City himself gave his all for the club and scored 2 of the most important goals in our history. Present: Havent really got a favourite at the minute as the squad keeps changing. 7. Do you have confidence in your manager to achieve your club's target this season? I think the clubs targets were top10 and if we can get a run of results and learn to defend set pieces then yes we can. He will never be able to match some supporters expectations as we seem to have people that think we should have won the league already 8. If you could have one player from any other Championship team for your squad who would it be? Dean Ashton - We need an out and out 20goal a season striker and he would get that 9.How do you feel about the signing of ex-Wednesday target Iain Hume? Was a little dissapointed we had signed a League One player for £500k but he looked reasonably promising and will hopefully prove me wrong. Only time will tell and i will definately give him time to settle in 10. How do you think Sheffield Wednesday will fare this season, and what would you says the key to success in the Championship? I think they shall be in the bottom half but comfortably safe from the bottom 3 - good luck Success comes with goals and if you struggle to score goals you wont go anywhere fast. Workrate is also needed as is concentration for the whole game - if you switch off for 10minutes you will get punished. 11. Key striker David Connolly recently left for Wigan in a £2M deal? What are thoughts on the deal, and how do you think Leicester City will cope without him? Was very dissapointed to see him go but we cant afford to turn down £2mil. He isnt really worth that in my eyes but it is never good to see your top scorer leave. I think we shall cope alright without him - we sometimes were very One-Dimensional - always looking for him rather than others and we may have a better shape to our game but again only time will tell.
