Whether you support Micky Adams or not this is a time for supporting the club. When results are going well the support of the fans is less important than whe things are going badly.

I am guilty of not going to a great number of away games due to other commitments but am now making a real effort to get to away games and have got my tickets. Playing in front of smaller number of fans must have an impact on the players and so good support is vital and will hopefully make the players more determined to put on a good show.

The club needs to play a part to encourage this suport at home matches, the easiest was is by dropping prices. I know this is alien to them but they do not seem to realise more perople at lower prices can generate greater revenue. Cheap kids tickets = more kids = more parents.

Also I am amused that support of Micky comes down to whether you are "up his arse" or not and not to your percieved best interests of the club we all support. Personaly I have switched sides and crawled out of the anal pasage to emerge with a view that we need a change. On paper there is no comaprison between our squad and those of Watford and Brighton so it must be down to tactics and motivation.

I repeat that suport is more important at this time than when we are top of the division and I know the fans can do their part, so it is up to the club...

I was surprised at the 22k attendance yesterday. I was expecting about 18/19k with it being an early kick off/Sky game/Bank Holiday. It's shocking to think that fans are being asked to pay Premiership prices to watch this tripe against a side expected to be relegated to league one. I thought Watford was the lowest it could get, but this game has taken shitness to another level. Mace et al will not reduce prices - The most they will do is perhaps change some grade B matches in to a family fixture. If things don't improve football wise, then crowds will inevitably dwindle - But I'm sure the club won't do anything about it. We'll be soon playing in front of crowds of 18k in a 32k seater stadium. :(

As for Micky Adams - I'm still saying giving him 10 games, and then see where we are. Yes, the Brighton game was abysmal, but we need to see if Micky can improve matters over the next two week break. If we lose at Rotherham, then I will be concerned. Now, we don't have any divine right to beat these so called 'lesser teams', however, with the players at our disposal, we should be beating these sides comfortably. Marcoss, you're right in saying that the defeats against Watford/Brighton are down to tactics, because player for player, we exceed them in every position. We can't really comment on motivation because we don't know that, but it would suggest from how we start games sluggishly and letharically, Micky doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
