The rot has taken a hold..

The last 3 games have shown that the club is riddled with rot. Claudio is hell bent doing his own thing and doesn't give a shite that the rest of the staff aren't embracing it. Craig Shakespeare might as well stay on the bus, such is the lack of chemistry between the two of them. As a manager, you have the right to do things your own way, after all, you are being paid to do a job but the trick with being a great man manager is allowing people to feel like they have an input , it breeds enthusiasm and a feeling of being involved. 

If a manager listens and takes others' views onboard the resulting feeling of being part of the collective means that your job is being taken care of by others taking greater responsibility in their job. For a manager, it's a win win situation. After all, a General is only as good as his troops the old saying goes.

Modern football, rightly or wrongly, isn't about being draconian in your methods, it requires a manager to be a mate. Footballers are adults and as such, they require people to treat them like one. This requires a certain skill set to be pally with people that are younger than you by some decades and also from backgrounds you probably have no affinity or knowledge of but is all important to be able to relate with on their level. 

Being pally doesn't mean give in to every whim, it means you will have earned a certain level of respect and authority with a particular member of the team / staff and the equal footing between you pays dividends with the productivity moving forward.

I only see division when I see the dugout, a man of a past era trying to instill a previous generations methods into a group of people that have had no experience of that time before and with little grasp of that bygone age.

A good manager in any industry is normally little heard of, quietly letting his team of people do his job for him without them knowing it. That certainly isn't the case here.

I suspect last year he did little of note in the running/ set up of the well oiled machine that was Leicester City and I fear that he hasn't really grasped the reality that LCFC won the league with him involved and not because of him.
