Question is, why is Ruud playing him for 90 minutes constantly? If you're going to do that, at least play to his strengths.

It's a bit revisionist now, but I think he should have retired at the end of last season.

It was a glorious high to go out on - looking at him now, sadly he is a shell of his former self and isn't physically capable of competing for long enough within games.

I don't think we can justify keeping him for another year unless his wage takes a huge drop and this would be a sad way for him to bow out.
