The LCFC man was showing him and another man round and was calling him Josef, Josep or Josip? I'm not taking the pi ss either!! Ajax Treesdown Posted 28 December 2005 Share Posted 28 December 2005 SIMUNIC PREPARING FOR BERLIN EXIT Croatia international defender Josip Simunic is set to leave Hertha Berlin after turning down the club's final offer of fresh terms. The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and he could be on his way out of the club in the January transfer window. "We have withdrawn our offer to Joe Simunic and are now looking around for a new defender," said Berlin's general manager Dieter Hoeness. Hertha will seek a buyer for Simunic next month rather than losing him on a free transfer in the summer. Italian giants AC Milan are among those who are thought to have an interest in the defender.
