ThrussingtonFox Posted 11 January 2006 Share Posted 11 January 2006 Steve Smith Fundraising As you may already know Steve Smith (The Masked Avenger) has recently suffered a massive stroke and so we have decided to raise funds for anything he may need in the future. At present we are not sure what this will be as it is still early days. We believe there are a lot of people that would like to be involved in this and so we have decided to set up a Fundraising team. One of the first fundraising events will be in January/February 2006 (date TBC) and others will be arranged throughout the year as suggested by you. The Foxes Trust and Wigston Youth(the football team he coached) and LCFC are already involved Steve has always been very generous and committed to all the causes he worked with. He would always help anybody, he contributed a lot of time to the Foxes trust and his football team and we feel that now it is time for us to repay him by giving something back at such a sad time. If you would like to be involved in the team of fundraisers or have any ideas, your help would really be appreciated.
