Hows our Mark De vries ?

Any one know how Mark De Vries is getting on at his loan club ???

Well, knowing a little dutch and looking at some of the various reports, he's on the bench and has featured in two games, but has yet to score.

Miss him much?

Nah not really, I am very happy that Kelly has chosen Fryatt and Hume, as they are the 2 best strikers at the club, and he is not doing a Levein and swapping it around all the time like a jock twat.

:P Agreed!!! I think that Matty needs someone like Hume that can provide a little more of the service and ball to his co-partner up front than DeVries, who basically holds on to the ball and forces half-chances that have absolutely no chance of going in. I say we stick with what we have then try to bring in someone in the close season like a Horsfield or someone else that can strictly be a "target man" and free Matty up for more chances up front.

Isn't he still under contract at City ? No doubt he'll be back at the end of the season. He's still our top scorer this season isn't he ?!

He is only on loan at Heerenveen and will come back at the end of the season, except it is thought he will go to them permanently. Can't see him going back to them permanently if he sits on the bench and fails to score when he does get a chance to play though.
