Nebdingo Posted 10 August 2006 Share Posted 10 August 2006 "Manager Rob Kelly is facing an anxious wait on the news of injury to 6 City stars." (stars?? LMAO) Info can be found HERE
lookwhaticando Posted 10 August 2006 Share Posted 10 August 2006 6 is a bit sensationalist. Wesolowski and Douglas were out already, so we don't count them - they weren't expected back just yet anyway. Fryatt's got a cut on the head, hardly the greatest injury concern. Kenton struggling is newsworthy as he's been useful in defence for us. Gareth we knew was injured, that's why he came off at half time limping against Burnley. Johnson's injury wasn't so obvious. I make that 3 proper injury concernes, one player who's got to keep his head, and two players we didn't have in the squad yet anyway. Not exactly the serious situation described by injuries to 'six stars'
