Foxes weigh up Carsley move

Leicester City's continued quest for new signings could lead them to Everton midfielder Lee Carsley.

Foxes boss Micky Adams is determined to buttress his squad ahead of the club's push for promotion back to The Premiership.

Adams has already secured seven fresh faces over the course of the summer but is not stopping his recruitment drive.

"We have brought in seven players so far but the squad is not complete yet," said Adams.

"We have still got areas that I feel need strengthening and I will do that in the next week or so."

Republic of Ireland international Carsley has emerged as a potential signing for Adams after being linked with a switch to The Walkers Stadium.

Carsley has spent the past two-and-a-half years with The Toffees after joining from Coventry City and could be offered a return to the East Midlands.

The 30-year-old started his career in that region with Derby County and has now been mooted for a return with Leicester.

Everton are striving to bolster their midfield with the acquisition of Tim Cahill and, if they land the Millwall ace, Toffees boss David Moyes may decide Carsley is surplus to requirements.

Yeah something we need, as i dont think Williams puts many tackles in and with him being a main part, we need a ball winner along side him, so he could be a decent signing i suppose.

i think we will be a wicked signing, but willt ha mean that nalis dont play or tiatto left wing, but i think micky like wilcox.
