GAME ON! Exhibition.

I took my son to this thing he saw advertised down here in London at the Science Musuem. Its an exhibition "celebrating" the history of consoles and as you walk in, you are confronted by what seems like a couple of hundred consoles hooked up to monitors. It was a quality day out as an old sod like me got to play some of the games that I used to play in the arcades as a kid like Space Invaders, Defender and Phoenix. You had all the consoles on display from the first lot that came out to the Wii and Playstation 3 to play. There were arcade games of yesteryear to modern ones. I felt old when I heard my son laugh at the old games I was playing whilst he headed straight for the latest Wii efforts the little sod! What was hilarious was the handheld section because as well as the modern PSPs, you had the cheap one game handheld crap that us lads in our 30s had to play. I had a crack at the Pacman one lol!

I think the exhibition has been going on for a few weeks already and ends this weekend but if anyone is down here or from the area already, I`d check it out. It cost £8.50 for adults and kids were £2 cheaper. The good things is you are practically next door to two more free musuems so it would be a great dayout.
