Geo V Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 Someone gave me this link a while back for downloading a Commodore 64 emulator and to download some old retro games. I used to love playing football management games on them as a kid and can remember paying £20 for these games from these ropey companies for a game that took 30 mins to load and was very basic to play. Still, they were addictive . This site stores all the Sports games created on the C64. It takes about 3 seconds to download a game and all you have to do is "unzip" it and your away. C64 Emulators available here http://www.computerbrains.com/ccs64/ and games here http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...ive+Angel+wings I know that loads of the members to this forum are too young to remember these games and its hilarious to see them when you have Champ Manager and the rest but for a 34 year old sod it brought back some memories of a misplaced youth . BTW download a game called THE DOUBLE which was quality.

Geo V Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 sos fella. http://s64.emuunlim.com/ BTW The Double would take about 10 mins to list all results from the 3 divisions, then the same to list all the attendances. If you wanted to watch a game, that lasted about 25 mins PMSL!! Its hilarious stuff. The emulator allows you to hit warp speed and you can play a season in about 30-45 mins if you want.
Leicfox Posted 18 April 2007 Posted 18 April 2007 err,i think the link to the games is wrong mate. Yep i need the games site too, downloaded and installed the emulator.

Geo V Posted 18 April 2007 Author Posted 18 April 2007 Blackpool offer me my 1st job. mate they are a good side at that level. BTW a few tips on the double that came flooding back to me as I was playing it for the first time in about 20 years was that I remembered a coupl eof players that are good on it during the sirst season. Brighton - 3- Pearce £75000 gets him Barnsley - 4 - Futcher - £75000 gets him Also, if you have a 13 man squad you dont get injuries, if no-one else bids you can buy a player from a D1 club for 29000, D2 for 8000 and 999 in D3 . Who can remember watching these players ???
