Micky Ruddle Posted 8 June 2007 Author Posted 8 June 2007 And yet...Mr Boon still plays him. Has he got a brain?
Ultra Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 All the bowlers were crap, even Stuart Broad! Looks like we could be battling it out with Glamorgan for the Championship wooden spoon! Just as well we have the 20-20 Cup coming up soon..

dandannieldanok Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 yer but we will do poor in that aswell ! Unfortunately, you could be right. The key to our past successes in this competition has been the bowling and fielding aspects because we have never beeen able to club 200+ runs regularly like Lancashire for instant. With bowling like Walker's then we have very little hope of a repeated success.
Ultra Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 We still have most of our bowlers from last year, like Broad, Masters, Snape, Henderson and Allenby. It's the batting that could be the main weakness this year though.
Micky Ruddle Posted 8 June 2007 Author Posted 8 June 2007 I Could see Broady leaving at the end of the year as he is out of contract. Speculation is that Broad could well be on his way to Surrey or Notts. I hope he stays but i can't see it happening I just hope that pile of sh*t Walker leaves asap. He is crap!!!! He dropped two catches at Oakham against Notts, that could've won us the game as it was David Hussey batting and got us nearly 18 points, as we batted ever so well. Only for that tw*t to mess it all up.
Ultra Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 But the former Derbyshire seamer shook off that disappointment to come back strongly with a fine finishing spell of bowling that saw him claim the last three wickets to fall that wrecked the visitors' hopes of securing a victory. Strange how you forgot to mention that..
Micky Ruddle Posted 8 June 2007 Author Posted 8 June 2007 Strange how you forgot to mention that.. To be frank, i don't like the lad. I don't think he deserves any credit at all, but then again, its my opinion. I just love to see him getting battered every game!
