Gené and Tonic Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 Anyone play these? I'm getting rfactor after my exams, imo from the demo and screenshots of the tons of mods they have for it, it looks to be the best racing simulator for a while - especially for formula 1.
Floating Fox Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 Just actually got Rfactor Today, Well the trial, it's extreamely realistic compared to other games but the lack of real cars etc For F1 has put me off. Got GP4 as well, Quality game, Good Graphics & official stuff. Just a bit old and not very realistic handling. Btw, you should join Batracer. Plenty of people from here do it, good laugh & there's spaces in the current season if you want one (PM me ) Btw, Bring back the lola in your sig Right Back to Rfacter for a bit
Gené and Tonic Posted 13 June 2007 Author Posted 13 June 2007 Yeah I'll certainly think about it - I'll have plenty of time from today onwards (last exam) btw if you want extra stuff for rfactor full game: http://www.rfactorcentral.com/index.cfm It's basically got everything but has a download cap for each day...so it may take a few weeks to get everything you want
Floating Fox Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Really thinking about getting it now, playing the trial and liking it but not to sure about all of this downloading stuff, lots of room for errors although 25 quid Isn't too bad. Will keep playing this week and see!
Gené and Tonic Posted 13 June 2007 Author Posted 13 June 2007 Well it's basically a mod base. I asked quite a few questions on one of the forums and its incredibly easy and simple to switch between each mod (so I've been told). It's a good, but small game without any mods but massive with them. And there are so many..kart, rally, stock car, nascar, indycar, f1, dtm, gp2 etc Nordshleife is a downloadable track. I think with any game it'll be a bit tricky to get to grips with at first, but easy once you get the hang of it.
