Breaking the bank

I spotted this and was intrigued by what Purse is saying, so I wondered how many people agree that by breaking the banks to bring in a big name that whilst;

A) he may lift the spirits of others around him and genuinely bring with him a vast knowledge of experience which can be passed onto the youth teams and rest of his collegues

Or B) His signing will put the club into financial distress, proberly annoy other players already in the team, on far lower wages, and generally disrupt the team's performances and dressing room attitude.

Also is Fowler, or anybody, worth that much money??
