Zingari Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Trial and Retribution Great to see this back on TV again , what a fantastic cop show , David Hayman ( Mike ) and Victoria Smurfit ( Roisin) are just brilliant as the leading characters , (Even if she is a cocky little know-all sometimes) I'd love to know who wrote it because some woman called Lynda la Plante is credited with it and I reckon it's some sort of tax dodge , (and her husband , or some other bloke wrote it ) because i don't think a woman could write gritty realistic drama as good as this . Women are good at writing things like The Liver Birds , Butterfies , Bread or any stuff like that . but come on , really , who are you trying to kid ? the taxman is not stupid you know , he'll find out soon enough . Come on ITV . own up,, who really wrote it ?
