Leicesterboi Posted 2 May 2005 Posted 2 May 2005 i dont think that we should bring in may more players from the scottish leagues as there is too muxh of a gap in quality and we will then be finding ourselves with a team who might be able to challenge for 3rd or 4th place......in the scotthish leagues.... this meanin maybe midtable in the championship. I suggest Sam Parkin of swindon he is banging in the goals and would link well with connolly as he cna be a target man as he is 6"2:D And maybe stump up some cash for hull superstar Stuart Elliot. Another suggestion is Leroy Lita if we could find half a million or maybe a million raised by offloading the dead wood at the club then maybe we could afford the quality needed to get out of this division.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 2 May 2005 Posted 2 May 2005 I think Maybury's looked good at this level and de Vries has been injured most of the time so I don't want to judge him by his performances this season too much. Hughes has been a good signing and we'll have to wait and see if Kisnorbo is or not. I don't think those signings have been bad but I know what you mean about always going to Scotland for signings. We need to look elsewhere and I think Kelly's helped Levein when bringing in English based players like Kenton, Moore and McCarthy.
