Clive Redman Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Steve Walsh praises Richie Wellens and Andy King in his latest blog... "Richie Wellens was absolutely outstanding in midfield and completely controlled the balance and pace of play. He seems to have that little bit more freedom now, with Yuki Abe playing a more defensive role, and it’s allowing him to settle on the ball, pick his passes and link-up with the attack. This has brought Richie’s vision closer to where his through-balls and incisive passes can do most damage – near the opponent’s box – and Andy King is one player who is certainly benefiting. "Kingy got the winner again and his goalscoring record is so impressive. That’s eight goals for the Welshman this campaign, and he’s had a few chalked off too. He’ll comfortably reach double figures and maybe even hit 20 before the end of the season. He’s got that ability to be in the right place at the right time, similar to attacking midfielders like Frank Lampard, and going back a few years, David Platt, and has become such an influential player for the Foxes."
