Scow Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 Anyone heard of this? I thought it would be a lot more convenient than using AMEX travellers cheque's, so I decided to order one and place £200 on it - I was charged £20 for the privilege, and I'm also advised that if I want to withdraw cash at an ATM, it going to cost £1.50 every for transaction. Maybe I would have been better with Travellers cheque's? <_<
Robsdee Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed you!!!!! Bloody cheek
shack Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 I always take euros and use the regular bank/cash card if I need any more. I though travellers cheques were discontinued!
shelly Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 No, my friends have gone Xante this week and they took travellers cheques.
