davidleeds Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Greetings, There's a midlands band playing Sumo on Saturday 7th May - they hail from the Wolves area they are called The Lines, play dancey indie tunes and live are up there with anyone I've had the pleasure to have seen and they've just come back from SXSW where they went down a treat with the yanks. I'm not linked to the band in any way other than being a fan, I had the pleasure of watching the Displacements and The Pigeon Detectives at Sumo and you citizens of Leicester are crazy - it's the first time i've ever seen crowd surfing outside of a gig! Hope to see plenty of you there, good luck for the rest of the season (unless of course you meet Leeds again - I'm fed up with you beating us!!). David, Leeds.
