OS.

Two City youngsters have been called up to international youth squads this week.

First-year professional George Taft has been named in Brian Eastwick's England squad for the forthcoming FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Colombia.

George was among the Young Lions to jet out to the United States on Friday, where they will complete 10 days of altitude in Colorado in order to acclimatise to the conditions they will face in South America.

England's first two games in the competition, against Korea DPR and Argentina, will be played at 1,500m above sea level, making the lofty conditions of Denver perfect for their pre-tournament preparations.

Following those two games in Medellin, Eastwick's team will play their final group match against Mexico back at sea level in Cartagena. The tournament runs from July 29, a day before City take on Real Madrid at King Power Stadium, and runs through to August 20.

Meanwhile, Academy player Jack Nardiello has been called up to the Wales Under-17 squad for a four nations tournament in Sweden.

While in Scandinavia, Brian Flynn's young Welsh side will face tests against Iceland, Norway and the host nation.
