New England Fox Posted 3 September 2011 Posted 3 September 2011 I know that the Vuelta doesn't get anywhere near the coverage that the Tour de France gets but has anyone been watching? Its into the last week now and Bradley Wiggins is in the leaders red jersey and after todays stage he looks to be in a great position. He leads his team mate Chris Froome, who has been outstanding, by 7 seconds and today the two of them put time into most of Wiggins GC rivals. Clearly Brad has managed to carry over his good form from the Dauphine and the Tour despite his crash and hes now reaping the benefits. Tomorrows stage will be critical though, an insanely hard summit finish up a climb with an average gradient of over 10% and even gets up to 23.5% at one point . Should be a great stage!
