I Know, lots have said it, but to TOP - let's NOT get a mediocre manger this time, we've had TOO MANY!!!! The Contenders - Roy Keane - NO - Sunderland Lucky break, got used to him - sacked, Ipswich - Terrible - DON't GO THERE Ian Dowie - NOOOOOOO Billy Davies - OK done well on a shoe string - BUT lost play offs, AND did nothing in Prem, however better than a few others, but would he blow silly money? MON - YES, YES YES - but afraid to say not gonna get him Dave Jones - Another Billy Davies??? Mark Hughes - Terrible signings with big money to spend - showed at Man City! However, premier experience, but never done it in championship! Roberto Di Matteo - Proven at League 1, and at Championship. OK not so well in Prem, but with money behind him, he would do better than others! One of the choices out of the all of them, due to the fact he HAS taken clubs to promotion, and NOT always by the play-offs. Proved this with little or no money in League One, and with our sort of money with West Brom in Championship! GO GET HIM????? Nigel Pearson - Best record since MON, but do we want to go back to an old manager who can mould a good tema together, BUT we have not seen what he can do with money! Total respect to this guy, but is he the answer, because we cannot attract anyone else here??? Is it a "make do" decision on TOP's behalf? IMO only, we need to assess each manger we look at on their PAST achievements. We need to look at a premier manger who does not look at simple tactics like hoof the ball to Howard! A manager who knows what each players skill is and use it in the team! Don't go for a manger who has never got a team promoted to the Premier. Don't go for a manager who plays one style, but can adapt to each game day! Keegan has got many critics on here, but look what he did for Newcastle!!!!! Took from being a bad side in low levels of football to a challenging attractive footballing side in the premier!! MON obviously the same! Would it not be wise to offer a big sum of the transfer kitty to a manager of some pedigree, than to a mediocre man with a bigger kitty? We have already seen this season that money does not buy a team! Lastly, Why not look at managers abroad who have done wonders with other teams, managers we as fans have not looked at? GET MON, Keegan, Matteo or some dude who has a PROVEN record in PROMOTION AND PREMIER!! I know i'll get hated for this but the biggest mistake us LCFC fans made was denying NEIL WARNOCK, by complaining about him on the forums, when we could have had him at one time! 2 Weeks to Palace, lets GET IT RIGHT for the 1st Time since MON and probably NP! AND GIVE HIM TIME!!!!! Thanks All
