Guest Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 With the right technique, running does no damage to joints/knees. Humans evolved as distance runners. As I say, in my experience, my joints have been strengthened by running! I have a partially dislocated knee cap, and ruined my patella tendon in the same accident. Since training for the 2008 marathon, I've had no problems with it, and I can now do the exercises the physios wanted me to do, and I cheated because they hurt so much!
