"A lot of people have voiced disapproval, stating that Leicester should be looking at players of a higher calibre. I disagree. I would love to see a non-league striker get the chance to prove his worth. "By staying at Fleetwood, he would be playing in League Two next season anyway. Why’s that? In large, because of Vardy’s scoring record, which has been staggering. There are a lot of good players at non-league level and if Leicester City gives one of them a chance to prove themselves, that’s a good thing."
