Scow Posted 14 July 2004 Author Posted 14 July 2004 Due to what Scowcroft is on, and what clauses he's on such as a 'loyalty bonus', even if Norwich did offer £2 Million (Which I very much doubt) then we may not even receive any of that transfer fee..... 1) If we sell without him asking for a transfer, he's entitled to a loyalty bonus. 2) As Norwich won't be paying him what he's on with us, Scowcroft would expect the difference to paid on the remainder of his contract by us, so part of the fee would cover that. If what Norwich are offering means we don't receive any of that fee, we might aswell keep him as he'll be very useful in this division. Some of you are basing your views on how he performed in the Premiership last season - I didn't hear many of you complaining when he hit 11 goals from the right wing last time....
