Just putting this out there to anybody who plays Batracer.

Its a game that is much more detailed than Batracer so it'll be more than just a five minute game. It can still be a 5min job but you'll probably have to put a bit more effort in if you want to be succesful. You create your own F1 team, hiring one/two drivers from a database of tens of thousands of males and females ranging between the ages of 17-40. Each driver comes with their own attributes such as composure, talent, fast/slow corners, wet weather, bravery and all that information is put into a spider web chart consisting of Speed, Mental, Attacking, Defending, Technical and Physical attributes.

Once you're up and running you choose an engine supplier, tyre supplier and a fuel supplier as well as four sponsors to keep your budget looking healthy. As you progress as a manager you can buy things like Kers/DRS, weather stations, and you can expand the number of staff that you employ. You also hire a team chief designer, commercial manager, technical director and doctor. At a certain level you can employ up to 200 staff members and you seperate them into who works with the design team, engineering, mechanics and the commerical aspect of things. It's up to you how you decide to split the work between the current seasons car and next seasons.

Once you're all set you join a league that races at times that suit you. That can be everyday, twice a week etc. or even just once a week. Race distances are 25%, 50% and 100%. I do a 100% league myself and it usually takes about 90mins to race. There is a lock out time for preparation on race days, 10mins after that qualifying will be put up and then 20mins later the race will begin. If you suscribe (sadly its £5 a month, not just a £10 one off payment like Batracer) you get to watch your cars race around the track on a 2D viewer. There are five different push settings in the race and a diagram of your car. All you really have to do is pick the best strategy and make sure your tyres don't overheat or lose heat (using the push settings). 1 (back off) 2 (take it easy) 3 (Hold position) 4 (push) and 5 (push hard). The harder you push the quicker your tyres will heat up and then you will have to pick a lower setting. If you don't suscribe then you're stuck with using a timing screen. You won't know if your tyres are worn to shreds unless you see a declining pattern in your times. I've played it long enough where I know off by heart when you have to start backing off because the tyres are at a good temperature.

Live weather is used for races so if you're racing at Silverstone and it's raining there, it should start to rain on the game too. It's based off the 2009 calendar (17 races from Australia to Abu Dhabi). If anybody would like to know more then ask away. If anybody would be interested in doing this then great, i'm fine if you all want to finish the season you're about to start on Batracer before you come on over.
