Flight 93?

I watched it tonight , It's based on the events of September 11th when American Airlines flight 93 was hijacked. It was heading for the Whitehouse and 40 odd passengers broke into the cockpit and brought the plane down in some countryside.

The courage those people shown was unbelivable and I cant begin to imagine how all those were feeling.

Anyway its a great film and very touching , If you have the chance to see it , Do it.

yes i downloaded it the other day,

to be honest i had higher hopes for the film, i assumed it would me more about the the planes that hit the trade centre towers. But yes you are right it was brave of the passengers to take on the hijackers, but it leaves the question why did nobody attempt this on any of the other flights?

But my main moan about the film is what are they basing it on, i mean at the end of the film it claims the military only found out the plane had been hijacked 4 minutes after it crashed so what are they basing any of the incidents during the flight on?

nevertheless brave attempt and a good way to remember the people of that flight.

I think most of it is based on the black box and cockpit recordings some of which was broadcasted not long after the incident.

cue the conspiracy theories....

I personally think that the "HERO" status was all made up and infact the plane was shot out of the sky by USAF on military orders and to to cover it up they said all the people were heroes and took control of the plane!! we have all seen American movies they can't understand Americans f**king up or accept them not been the typical "American Hero" look at all the Vietnam War films how on earth did they manage to lose the war???? although they will tell you nobody won!!!

everything to do with america could involve cover ups or conspiricies. take sept11th for example. not only what you suggested with that flight, but also with the pentagon. there was a really good program to do with that and also theres lots of stuff online, basically it proved that a passenger plane did NOT hit the pentagon
