As others have alluded to eskinazi is far from a poor player, but this experiment of him opening is clearly not the one and needs binning off sooner rather than later. If budinger is playing he needs to be batting during the PP…

Another very inept performance and there was so much more we could’ve done to win the game I.e. better finishing, earlier subs etc but knew the keeper would have his best game of the season today!
 

However, like I said we shouldn’t be giving him the chance to save the majority of them, which along with our inability to defend balls into the box sums up why I think it’s inevitable we’re going down…

Our only real hope all season has been Jordan James and without him unfortunately we don’t have the fight or drive to win games

he’s basically fine as a CB in the championship and in particular games where we are expected to see the majority of the ball and don’t have opposition players constantly running in behind…

Pint of ‘neon’ from everards in the bakers arms, went down extremely well and only had the two, but could’ve easily sank a couple more even at 5%… 😋

I did 21 miles today in prep for Chester marathon too and that’ll be my longest run as well. From what I’ve read and been told 2-3 before weeks is the sweet spot for tapering though 👍🏻

Top 4 awful, but we gave away 30-40 runs from the wides/no balls as well, take even half of that away and we probably win that game..! 

Tried to be too clever batting first there, our T20 record speaks for itself…

I’ve been down there for every t20 this season and Last and it’s always amusing listening to the conversations down there… it’s almost as if people expect our bowlers to take a wicket every over and if they get hit for a boundary they should be taken out of the attack immediately…

Likewise with the batsmen, if they don’t score boundaries they should be going for it and if they do and get caught it’s the wrong shot 😂 

Of course you can manage the game and the captain can always influence it with his decision making, but t20 most of the time is a compete lottery of very fine margins…!

Set a PB today of 22.19, I usually run longer distances as training for first marathon in October but that’s the first time I’ve really kept an eye on my time/speed over that distance. Any tips for getting under 22 mins or is it simply a case of running that distance more often amongst the longer runs? 

On route to Whitby, been a few times and always visit the brewery right behind the abbey. If anyone has any shouts for other decent watering holes with local ales would be appreciated 👍🏻
