If he got it he wouldn’t have been caught a lockdown party, drunk driving etc.

He’s a prat, but better footballer than someone like skipp

In a purely on the pitch football sense he gets it. If you judged footballers by their off the pitch antics then you could probably count on one hand the amount who get it by that definition.

  2. I really struggle to see the point of us persisting with him. Yes he will be good enough in this division but we know he isn't for the Premier League which we should be planning and aiming back too at all points. Get him binned off and use some of the youngsters or anyone we can get in with the capability to grow to give us at least half a chance if we go up.

  3. Since he has joined he has arguably been the poster boy for the mess the clubs regularly found itself in, constantly showing a negative attitude which is clear to see, combined with his chatter this summer thinking he's bigger than the problem has rightly turned many fans against him. He then has the brass neck to do that celebration after scoring against a 10 men side that have well documented issues, he absolutely deserves the flack he got.

For me our fanbase is summed up well by what happened with him yesterday. A bit of light booing for a player who probably does deserve it, he responds like that and has sympathisers. A lot of other clubs that would be it, fan base fully against him and united final straw and all that. But there's a lot out there taking his side forgetting its Leicester City FC, not Wout Faes FC - **** the curly haired tosspot.

Yeah he's ultimately not the worst CB in the world, but you must be deluded if you don't think he is one of the roots that is rotten and needs cutting off for this club to flourish.

But what’s the alternative? He had little on the bench? If he leaves Daka and Mav on and concedes he gets slated. It’s just the way it is. Our squad depth isn’t quite what Leeds’ is.

You've said it, keep mavididi on he was creating chances but then replace him with McAteer, who lets face it has no attributes at this level to beat a man or create an opening.

As for Daka, struggled to get into the game for me he should've been off sooner, you've got a natural finisher on the bench.

Asides from that waiting that long to make a change like he always does comes back to haunt us. Leeds made all 5 over a prolonged period of the second half and it changed the game and look what happens.

  5. Zero game management let's be real, they make 2 subs down the right kill us. We need a finisher on the pitch he waits til 75 to bring one on and only makes 2 subs. It's all well and good having plan A but when everyone shits the bed there has to be a plan B

  6. Only properly caught first half and I'm sure all of the below has been pointed out by others already but;

Thought winks looked classy, obviously against a weaker opposition, but completely understand why Enzo got him in and he should come alive in that role. The other new boy, Coady, was just as good, proper leader at the back and I'm hoping his organisation will keep the other centre backs calm and under control, bit like Evans a few years back before he was made of paper mache.

One thing I noticed Coady do a lot was his studs on the ball, it's a big feature of Brighton's play, trying to draw a press out. Whilst Northampton didn't look too interested in it, I think this will come very handy against better sides pulling them in for him to just play around them to Ricardo or Winks. He's also not afraid to try a long switch of play, which I can see winding a lot of people up over the season when they don't come off 😂

Definitely lacking for some form or creativity moving forward though. Thought we looked comfortable passing it through the first third and moving it quickly but it really slowed come the other end of pitch. Really shows how much Youri and Maddison were the ones who opened defences up.

All in all seems alright so far, a few more faces in could see this all click. I do still think we'll start a little slow perhaps, but as long as we chip off enough points for when it does click into gear we could just be alright!

  7. Always thought it but our fanbase is horrific on the whole. Everyone lauded us for the title season but let's not act like any other club in our situation wouldn't have had just as good an atmosphere.

I'm all for do what you want to do at the football, but this constant need to look like the better person from certain sections of our fanbase is just bizarre. I do wonder how much the title sucked out passion from a lot of people who are just there for the routine and now realise they'll never experience the likes of that again.

  8. He absolutely managed to tarnish any legacy he could've had here in the last few months. He'll thrive where ever he goes as it's likely to be a team on the front foot and he won't have to dig deep. Which is perfect for him as ultimately I think that what will hold him back from being a truly an elite player is his weak mental mindset

  9. We deserve this, from the board to the manager, to the players. All season no fight no ****ing care. In fact as fans we ****ing deserve this, every pan to that away end even before all the goals today looked less lively then a ****ing child's funeral, you reap what you sow and we've been sowing the Championship all year long and absolutely no doubts it may even be better then what we even deserve....

The best thing to do with the clappers assuming they are here forever now:thumbdown:, is to have a collection point where if fans want one they can go grab one, I would assume this would reduce the noise a lot from them as not everyone in the ground will have them and only fans who really really want one will go and get one?

Now now, don't be making sensible suggestions on Foxestalk 😂

  11. After Sunday I had a bit of optimism we might just bounce back, but that's gone I accept it now.

We're going down with a whimper, and the worst part is I'm not even sure one of them pricks on the field genuinely cares

  12. If you have any ounce of support left for this man then please do us all a favour and **** off and support cov, we're a mess from top to bottom but don't worry guys we were playing Yeovil a few years ago so can't complain. Spineless fan base full of people just on a day trip because it's a routine doesn't keep teams up.
