Taking the biscuit?
Jack Wiltshire is one of the promising managers at this level, and has potential to improve, in his first season in management he won a trophy would sooner have him and Chris Powell than Russell Martin.-

Threads vlosed but looks like we may have been interested in Wilshire for Luton. According to bbc.
He would have been the standout out choice imo. -
Russell Martin’s first marquee signing : Che Adams… if only!
-
Rob Edwards is not dropping to league one level not a chance.
He will wait for a championship club.

Wolves would have been better off going for Scott Parker he would get them promoted first time of asking.

So the only credible link is from John Percy who claims that Martin is under consideration. That's it? Nothing else other than wild histrionics and doom mongers.
So dramatic on Foxestalk.
BBC as well… -

Could be wrong but hearing he prefers Burnley job now than Leicester, looks like we're moving on with other candidates.
Burnley would not go for Russell Martin, Scott Parker to Martin would be a huge downgrade.-

Everything wrong with the owner and senior management. Out of touch with reality. Unfortunately for us, we just have to sit back and see the mess, play out.
They will favour Martin because he got Southampton promoted to the premier league, Aiyawatt still thinks we are in the championship… -

Clinging onto the feeling that GLC's man in the inside seems to have about as much knowledge of inside running of the club as ramadaone.
It’s nailed on it’s Martin these rumours of Burnley being interested was just to speed up Rudkin to offer him the dosh. -
Russell Martinola at the helm what could go wrong

Just hope Another Club FC outbid our ridiculous attempt to land Martin
I think it’s pure speculation that other clubs want Martin probably his agent trying to speed up us to make him an offer.-

Whilst I don’t like Martin, we are going to be seen as the big fish in League One teams are going to sit back against us.
We probably still end up with the best squad in League One.
I think it naive to think we we will not be stuck with the most possession, so it going to be hard to play counter attacking football.
But counter attacking football nullifies possession based football, we are going to get hit on the counter and inevitably concede a lot of goals whether we can outscore the opposition remains to be seen. -
Is anyone surprised who else would this regime target? McCarron wasn’t going to deviate from what Rudkin and Aiyawatt want..
-
Is anyone surprised? The charlatans running the show are clueless.

I would question anyone that doesn’t have a problem with Aiyawatt. He’s clueless in the extreme.-

What if it isn’t a battle? What if Rudkin’s ‘promotion’ was actually a way of moving him aside while sparing him any embarrassment over a perceived demotion? I’ve seen it so many times in my line of work—people ‘promoted’ to positions that ostensibly carry more responsibility but in reality involve far less involvement on day-to-day decision-making. To me, the McCarron/Rudkin arrangement has all the hallmarks of that.
I would like to believe that, but I don’t think this is the case.
Do you think Aiyawatt is capable of doing this?

Yes, McCarron.
If pigs can fly, Rudkin will have the final say, there is no way, McCarron is winning that battle.

Can we convince Turki Al Shaikh to buy us instead of the sheepshaggers?

That’s assuming Rudkin has final say. I’m not convinced he will.
Of course he will, who else is going to do the final sign off? McCarron? Aiyawatt will go for what Rudkin does.. -
If it’s a straight shoot out between Martin and Thelin , Rudkin is going to favour Martin unfortunately , Thelin will be perceived as a gamble having never managed in the England before.

This will give him brownie points from Aiyawatt when he does his PowerPoint presentation..
