  1. Some fundamental flaws in the OP here.

3 groups that all blame the other 2? When have we seen the board criticise the players or vice versa?

The board blame the rules. The board never blame the players because that would bring scrutiny on the people who hired them. The board blame a manager when they sack him. Then they appoint another, then sack him. We could get fully behind the board but it's not going to solve the fact that they are incompetent. In any other job if you continually hired for a role and had to dismiss that person within the year you'd get the sack. We promoted that guy.

There is no accountability above or below the manager in the club currently and if we as fans just accept it then the club is well and truly dead.

Interesting.  What area of Manchester are you?  I'm with the LibDems in Stockport where we did a good job of holding off the Reform challenge in the recent local elections.

I'm in Trafford, about 100m inside the Davyhulme area unfortunately. It felt like Greens had a genuine chance here and in neighbouring Flixton, but all that happened was it took hundreds of votes away from Labour in both areas. Flixton stayed labour but only by about 20 votes, whilst Greens picked up about 800. I can't see people risking it again.

Such a big bi election and just over half the people could be bothered voting. At least spoil your ballot paper.

The result proves how much of a protest vote greens are because they all go back to Labour when it matters

With restore on the table, reform and Conservatives need to join up and become a less extreme right wing party. I think there is a lot people of people who have centre right views but can't vote for extreme policies.

Not sure I agree with this. I think the councils elections were a bit of an eye opener for a lot of people with regards to the support reform has. The split in the left vote allowed Reform to make gains in a lot of areas. My local seat was won by reform by 12 votes from the Labour incumbent, and Greens had a decent vote share. People weren't voting greens as a protest, but if you asked the majority the following day if they'd have switched their vote to Labour they'd say yes. The left have realised that a split plays right into Reforms hands and unity is required now.

Incidentally our new Reform councillor has since been in court charged with weapons offences, so hopefully we will get a chance to see how the vote plays out with with a bit of hindsight.

I simply cannot believe this is true.

I know everyone involved with the club has no interest in what the fans have to say but come on, why would you pick a manager you know isn't going to get support from the fans, it's beyond tone deaf.

Baffles me why they treat Southampton as such a well-oiled machine that we should take all their players and management. We're 0 from 4 with Bertrand, Vestegaard, Glover and Aribo in terms of successes.

Surely the fact that we keep going to Southampton makes this more and not less likely. Also, 2 years ago we employed Steve Cooper. They knew that wouldn't be popular with the fans but still went ahead. They don't give a shit what any of us think

Any chance that Man City get relegated two divisions and we escape a relegation saving us and West Ham ?

the penalties on city are imminent - pep leaving - Enzo in - saves the embarrassment of PG having to resign after City lied to him - Enzo has the youngsters as all the stars go on loan for a year or two whilst City comeback…..maybe it’s my imagination but hammering Southampton maybe a precursor to getting at City…….

    i know it’s a pipe dream

It's not the same organisation handing out the punishments

  6. Great fight but it should have been stopped earlier. Wardley would stay in there until he gets punched to death, there's no quit in him. His corner shouldn't have let him back out for the 10th
