How on earth have XG registered that goal as almost 0.6?!!!??
I assume the 'shot' they're measuring it off is where Simms touched it, which would ordinarily be a brilliant position to shoot from.

He needs to go. That much is clear. However the bigger issue is the fact that the Owner and Director of Football can't select anyone noteworthy. This goes back through all of the King Power years in all honesty. If you look through every appointment they've made, apart from realising the mistake in sacking Pearson the first time and bringing him back, every other appointment has been a questionable...
Sven - big name disaster
Ranieri - Lucky pick (probably only got the job because Vichai was a Chelsea fan) and long term fell apart
Shakespeare - picked with emotion attached
Puel - Boring, painful, egotisical
Rodgers - self-obsessed, image obsessed, took too much control and dismantled successful recruitment for his own ends, the real begin on the current decline
Smith - Bad choice considering others who could of done better short term at that time, could of been OK if given 3 more games.
Maresca - selfishlessly sold himself to the first highest bidder - only ever going to be short term.
Cooper - Doomed to start with, cheap option, too hasty to sack
RvN - poor, out of his depth, unproven
Marti - cheap, out of his depth, clueless
We hear alot about aura, great interviews, the people in charge of our football club seemingly always get the wool pulled over their eyes by snake oil salesmen. Either that or Rudkin is that paranoid about being outed as the fraud he is he scuppers any decent appointment in favour of poor ones so his authority remains unquestioned.
I'm annoyed too, but this is some big time revisionism on some parts. Ranieri won the league, whatever happened afterwards, so that can't not be called a success. Puel was brought in to to do a job, which in hindsight was okay. Rogers got us playing some good stuff and we won an FA Cup under him. Maresca was up and down but ultimately won the Champ at the first time of asking. There's plenty to criticise the hierarchy about without resorting to making stuff up.

“I’ve seen it but I’m not showing you lot”
Yeah right.
Numerous people are saying they've had it personally or have seen it, just presumably don't want to get friends/family in trouble for sharing it. Why so doubtful when there's so many people saying it's the case?

I agree Yes it’s not ideal behavior
Of course it’s about the pay date
I honestly have sympathy for people living month to month but It’s been less then 3 weeks since the last payday, it would be 6 weeks to the next one if the payment was sent tomorrow
I think this shows a bit of naivety about the situation some people are in. It's unfair to give people a legitimate expectation and then take it away. Some families will scrimp and save throughout Jan to give their kids a nice Christmas, and spend a bit of extra money on them. They're now suddenly two weeks late on money they thought they should have. I really don't know why people are simping for the club or saying it's the staffs fault for not managing their finances when they're managing them based on the information that the club had given them, and then changed.

They get paid at the end of the month. Will be the same this month too. Just paid before christmas as the gap is massive.
Certainly not anywhere remotely near Sheffield Wednesday. Behave.
Obviously it's not at Sheff Wed level but changing the date you're paying staff at less than a days notice is clearly not acceptable and it's mad that you're defending it. It's not about the pay date, it's about the fact they've misled hardworking staff, many of whom may have been reliant on getting this money when they expected it.

Apart from the silly yellows I thought he was ok. I thought Faes had a far worse game, no awareness on corners at all, and he will still be a regular for the rest of the season.
He was okay apart from getting sent off early in the game? Bit of a leap...

So you take James off (arguably the only on one on the pitch putting some effort in) for BDR… clueless.
As opposed to running him in to the ground midweek in a game we’ve already lost?

I mean, we did defend the set piece really well, they were all offside.
Said to my dad on saturday, in this league its probably worth trying your luck like that because the linos are crap
He was offside by about two inches and we were chasing him back, hardly a coordinated and safe offside line

The mental gymnastics from some to absolve Aluko of the red is a bit cringe

Skipp making like Thomas look like roberto Carlos
To be fair mate he is completely out of position so hardly a fair comparison

Some of you lot are so entrenched in your opinions man, everybody on here has been clamouring for Aluko to start and now you slag off Marti for picking him. And yes the ref has been inconsistent, but it’s two blatant yellow cards. Sometimes you just have to accept that a player has been poor, even if you don’t want it to be the case.

Have we been linked or are we just making up things to be angry about?
-
Good to hear that the fan is stable. I did notice that the ref appeared to talk to both captains and even ran over to speak to Stolarcyk while this was going on. I wondered if he was stopping the game or perhaps explaining to the players that they weren't stopping and checking they were okay to carry on.

I may have missed something and may get a lot of abuse for this but I am going to ask anyway. Can we not get sponsorship from KP? That would, if possible put a name on the shirt, money in the bank and less need to sell our better players and additional money from shirt sales. We are not going to rebuild by selling all the gems and being left with utter dross. If we can get a striker in (not Bamford) we have half a chance with what we have. I suspect we can't offload the overpaid players but surely we could have got rid of Rudkin and got an able replacement.
You can only sponsor yourself at a fair market value so they can’t artificially pump cash in

I think it's about time people associated with this started having to fear in their daily lives. It's too important to too many people to be treated like this.
I’m as annoyed as the next guy, but this is a very dangerous idea to be exploring

But this is targeting drug taking pitch invaders (****ing ridiculous focus) who would get an instant ban for entering the field of play anyway.
Do you think this stops people from taking drugs? How many coked up morons invade the pitch each game?
It’s not just pitch invaders, it’s any offences committed at football if you read past the headline.
it’s also part of a wider push in law enforcement to test for Class A after arrest to try to address the role of drug use in spontaneous crime

I maybe wrong as my experience of mobile tickets is only with cup tickets as I have a physical ST card but I have never had the QR option on iPhone, i would imagine you could just add the ticket to a different phone via the link in the email
Once they’ve been added to one phone they can’t be added to another

How does this reduce people taking drugs?
There’s a general push to ban those who commit offences at/around football who are using drugs. If drug takers who can’t behave are banned, they naturally won’t be at the game.

A few on X saying that the yellow colour didn't really work because yellow isn't one of our colours and few people own yellow clothing.
So why not go back to our roots with black and Cambridge blue? Most will own something in one of those colours.
'Blue and Black till Rudkin's Sacked?'
Not dissimilar to what the Anti-Glazer Movement have done with the green and gold scarves.
Not sure how effective that would be considering, particularly during winter, that's what the vast majority of people are wearing already

Cocaine use at football is a massive problem that causes people to act like complete bellends. Any measures taken to reduce that are all good by me.
